Prior to Installation

• Inspect the sink prior to installation to make sure the sink has not been damaged during shipping.
• Use the cut-out template provided by Kraus.
• Observe all plumbing and building codes according to your state requirement.
• Additional floor and wall preparation may be required to avoid damaging the product.
• Make sure to purchase the correct cabinet for your farmhouse sink. Farmhouse base cabinets should be 3 inches larger than the actual size of the sink.
• Not recommended to be installed with laminate countertop.

• Model KWF210-24: Sink Dimensions: 23 7/8" x 20 1/4" x 10". Minimum Cabinet Size: 27".
• Model KWF210-27 & KWF210-27/PGM: Sink Dimensions: 26 7/8" x 20 1/4" x 10". Minimum Cabinet Size: 30".
• Model KWF210-30: Sink Dimensions: 29 7/8" x 20 1/4" x 10". Minimum Cabinet Size: 33".
• Model KWF210-33 & KWF210-33/PGM: Sink Dimensions: 32 7/8" x 20 1/4" x 10". Minimum Cabinet Size: 36".
• Model KWF210-36: Sink Dimensions: 35 7/8" x 20 1/4" x 10". Minimum Cabinet Size: 39".

Installation Guide

1. Step 1: Determine Reveal Type

   Use scissors to cut along the line of the paper template for your desired reveal type: Negative, Positive, or Flushed Reveal.

   KRAUS Recommended Installation Types:

   • 3/8" Positive Reveal: The sink edge extends 3/8 inch beyond the countertop opening.
   • Flushed/Zero Reveal: The sink edge is flush with the countertop opening.

2. Step 2: Position Template

   Check the cut-out template against the actual sink to ensure a proper sized cut-out. Place the cut-out template in the desired location on the countertop. Ensure adequate clearance for backsplash, faucet, and plumbing for the sink.

3. Step 3: Trace Template

   Trace the template onto the countertop with a pencil.

4. Step 4: Cut Countertop

   Cut the opening in the countertop by carefully following the traced line. Use the appropriate saw that best fits your countertop material.

5. Step 5: Cut Cabinet Front

   Measure the height of the apron front. Add 1/16 inch to the dimension when marking the base cabinet front cutout. Use a jigsaw to cut.

6. Step 6: Set Up Mounting Brackets

   Turn the countertop over and align the sink with the countertop. Decide the location for mounting brackets. Mounting holes should be 1/2 inch from the edge of the sink.

7. Step 7: Drill Hole in Countertop

   Drill a 3/8 inch diameter by 1/2 inch deep hole in the countertop for mounting hardware.

8. Step 8: Install Anchors

   Insert anchors into the drilled holes and lightly tap with a hammer until flush.

9. Step 9: Secure Sink to Countertop

   Use a bead of silicone (or preferred adhesive) around the rim of the sink. Check the alignment of the sink to the cutout in the countertop. Place the sink over the cutout hole and press firmly.

10. Step 10: Attach Mounting Hardware

    Attach mounting hardware to secure the bowl. Remove excess sealant from the inside lip. Allow sealant to set for 30-60 minutes. Use acetone or rubbing alcohol to remove any excess sealant.

11. Step 11: Install Plumbing Fixtures

    Connect the drain to the sink. Connect the trap to the drain. Connect water supply connections to the faucet according to the manufacturer's instructions. Run water into the sink and check for leaks. Note: Before installation, please check that the drain kit complies with ASME A112.18.2/CSA B125.2 and with CUPC certification.

Kraus products are manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards by Kraus USA Inc. ("Kraus").

Kitchen Sink Warranty

Kraus extends this warranty to the original purchaser for personal household use of the "Kitchen Sink" in its original location. The warranty is non-transferable.

Kraus warrants the structure and finish of the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for the lifetime of the product. The warranty commences from the initial date of purchase by the owner or trade professional, from an authorized Kraus dealer, through the lifetime of the original owner or end-user.

Any product reported to the authorized dealer or to Kraus as being defective within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced with a product of equal value at the option of Kraus. This warranty extends to the original owner or end-user, and is not transferable to a subsequent owner.

Restrictions

• This warranty does not cover discontinued, display, or clearance products.
• This warranty does not cover negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation, carelessness, accident, hard water or mineral deposits, exposure to corrosive materials, misapplication, improper maintenance, or alterations.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners (powders, bleach, ammonia, alcohol, chlorine) or abrasive pads, steel wool, or wire brushes, as these will damage and wear down the finish.
• This warranty does not apply to products not installed or operated in accordance with Kraus instructions and applicable codes/regulations.
• This warranty requires installation by a fully insured and licensed trade professional experienced in kitchen goods.
• This warranty does not cover labor charges for removal/reinstallation or incidental/consequential damages (loss of use, delay, property damage).
• This warranty does not cover Marine or Outdoor Installation.
• This warranty does not cover free gifts included with purchase.
• Kraus makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• Shipping charges for replacement parts/products are covered for the first year (international shipping fees may apply).

Commercial Warranty

Kraus extends the warranty for a period of one (1) year for industrial, commercial, and business use. All incidental or consequential damages are excluded. Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for purpose are also excluded.

Some states may have different limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
