How to Clean Your Water Dispenser
? This guide provides instructions for cleaning and maintaining your water dispenser, including replacing the SmartFlo™ cartridge.
Introduction
The exterior of your water dispenser should be thoroughly cleaned at least twice a year, and the SmartFlo™ cartridge should be replaced every 6 months.
?Note: Areas with high TDS/mineral content will require the SmartFlo™ cartridge to be changed more frequently than areas with low or no TDS/mineral content.
If you do not have a replacement cartridge on hand, you can order one directly. Your replacement kit will include a SmartFlo™ cartridge, a bottle adapter, a lid key, and a bottle tube cap.
Before starting any cleaning, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
?Tip: The best time to replace your water cartridge is when the existing water bottle is empty.

- SmartFlo™ replacement cartridge (if replacing)
- 70% rubbing alcohol or disinfectant wipes approved for food-contact surfaces

- Disposable latex-free gloves
- Bucket

Cleaning and Cartridge Replacement Steps
Step 1: Prepare for Cleaning
Slide the dispenser door upwards and turn off the hot water tank switch (refer to Fig. 1). Let the unit rest for one hour before cleaning to allow the hot water tank to cool.

?Note: If the SmartFlo™ cartridge does not move when pulling upwards, unplug the dispenser from the wall outlet, wait 5 minutes, and then plug it back in.
Step 7: Insert New Bottle Tube
With gloves, insert the new bottle tube through the indicated opening (refer to Fig. 7).
