Introduction

Thank you for choosing MSI CH40 wireless earbuds. This guide provides instructions and illustrations to help you get the most from the product. It is recommended to read this guide before using it.

Overview

The MSI CH40 wireless earbuds feature:

Turn On and Turn Off

To turn on or off the earbuds, simply take them out from or put them back into the charging case. Alternatively, place your finger on the Touch Sensor for 5 seconds to turn the earbuds ON or OFF when not using the charging case.

Pairing

  1. Take both earbuds out from the charging case.
  2. The Right earbud indicator will flash red and blue, and the Left earbud indicator will flash blue once every 5 seconds, indicating they are ready to use.
  3. Place both earbuds on your ears and follow the voice prompt instructions.
  4. Activate the Bluetooth function on your device and search for "MSI CH40". Select "MSI CH40" to connect.
  5. Once connected, both earbud indicators will flash blue once every 5 seconds.

Note: If the connection does not work properly, refer to the "Troubleshooting" section.

The Touch Sensor on each earbud performs the same functions:

Charging

It is recommended to fully charge the earbuds before first use.

Earbuds Charging

Note: If the charging case is not working properly, connect an external power supply to it using a USB cable. Charge the earbuds when you hear a voice prompt indicating "Low Battery".

Charging Case Charging

Note: If the earbuds and charging case are left unused for more than 2 weeks, please fully charge them before use.

Troubleshooting

Reset the earbuds if you encounter the following issues:

Connection Failure Between Earbuds and Devices

  1. Place both earbuds back into the charging case.
  2. Long-touch the touch sensors of both earbuds for more than 8 seconds to reset them.
  3. Delete the existing pairing connection from your device.
  4. Repeat the pairing instructions to reconnect the earbuds to your device.

No Sound Response from One Earbud

  1. Place both earbuds on your ears and ensure they are turned ON.
  2. Place your fingers on the Touch Sensors of both earbuds for 3 seconds. Remove your fingers once you hear a beep.
  3. Place both earbuds back into the charging case.
  4. Take both earbuds out of the charging case and place them on your ears.
  5. Turn on the earbuds and check the sound response from both.
  6. If there is still no sound response from one or both earbuds, reset them and then reconnect to the device.
