1. Introduction
This document provides a guideline for operating and configuring the Castles S1U2-M4 terminal. The scope includes setting up the terminal, basic operation, application lifecycle, and some advanced features.
Regulatory instruction of usage
- Before using the terminal, please check if it has been disassembled, modified, or shows any abnormal situation. If so, please do not use it.
- Please stay away from strong electromagnetic waves (e.g., microwave ovens, magnets, shoplifting prevention devices, high-voltage wires, automatic doors, communication antennas, etc.).
- Condensation can occur when moving from a cold place to a warm place. If condensation occurs, do not use the unit until the water droplets have evaporated.
- Static electricity may occur in some places (such as where you use a carpet).
- Please do not leave the terminal in the sun for a long time.
- Please operate the unit carefully as it is a precision instrument. Do not apply impact, drop, or place heavy objects on top of the unit.
- Do not attach dust, oil, etc., to any part of the power terminal. Also, please do not scratch it.
- Operating Temperature: -20 to 70°C.

2.2. Insert SAM Card
Insert SAM cards into the desired slot. Ensure correct orientation:
- SAM 1: Cut corner is on the bottom right side. Gold metal side faces up.
- SAM 2: Cut corner is on the bottom left side. Gold metal side faces up.
- SAM 3: Cut corner is on the bottom left side. Gold metal side faces up.
2.3. Insert SIM Card
Insert SIM cards into the desired slot. Ensure correct orientation:
- SIM 1: Cut corner is on the upper left side. Gold metal side faces up.
- SIM 2: Cut corner is on the upper right side. Gold metal side faces up.

3.1. FCC
Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement

Radiation Exposure Statement:
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.
Note: The country code selection is for non-US models only and is not available to all US models. Per FCC regulation, all WiFi products marketed in the US must be fixed to US operation channels only.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Warnings:
- Power cord shall be connected to a socket-outlet with earthing connection.
- Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of expended battery in accordance with local disposal regulations.
- This product is intended to be supplied by a Listed Power Adapter "L.P.S." (Or "Limited Power Source") and is rated at 9-48 Vdc, 1.5-0.5 A min., Tma = 70 degrees C.
- The equipment is only suitable for mounting on a wall at a height ≤ 2m.

3.4. Detachable Antenna Usage

Antenna types not included in this list that have a gain greater than the maximum gain indicated for any type listed are strictly prohibited for use with this device.
