NP50 Block Diagram
The NP50 is a component with various connections to other system parts. It includes connections for a GPU (6-pin 12V/15A), USB 2.0 from the motherboard (MB), and the MB CPU fan for bypass functionality. It also features a temperature sensor and a connection for a legacy PWM fan.
NP50 I/O Block Diagram and Power Relationship
The NP50 interfaces with several components:
- USB 2.0 (Type C connector): Provides 5V/0.5A. It has D+, D-, and GND connections.
- MB Fan (By Pass): Connects to MB PWM and MB Speed signals, with a GND connection.
- Legacy Fan: Connects to SPEED(RPM) and PWM signals, with a GND connection. It uses 12V/0.33A ~ 1.2A.
- PCIe 6pin power cable: Provides 12V/15A and GND.
- LOGO 12V RGB LED (6 LEDs): Connects to the NP50.
- HYTE hub HR60 (STM32L412CBU6): This is the central hub connecting various fan and ARGB signals.
The HYTE hub HR60 manages multiple fan connections, each with fan detection, Data In (RX), Data Out (TX), ARGB, GND, and 12V lines. Specific fan connections include:
- Fan detect (3 instances): Each connected to Data In (RX) and Data Out (TX) lines, with ARGB, GND, and 12V. Some are specified as Data In -- RX (STM32) and Data Out -- TX (STM32).
- FT FANFR ARGB Fan (STM32C031G6U6): Connected to the hub.
- PR10 LED Strip / PR20 LED Strip (STM32C031G6U6): Connected to the hub.
Additionally, a Temperature sensor provides Temp Data and GND to the NP50.
The NP50 also has a 'Fan Stop' connection.
