President Grant II CB Radio Configuration Guide

This document outlines the configuration options and frequency bands for the President Grant II CB radio.

General Information

The President Grant II is a CB radio with various configuration settings to customize its operation.

Configuration Steps

Wire Cutting

Step 2: Cut the white wire (W301).

Band and Channel Selection

The radio allows changing bands using the 'F' key and the channel selector. The following diagram illustrates the different bands and their corresponding channel configurations:

Configuration $t0 / t5$

The radio supports two main configuration modes: t5 and t0.

t5 (NORMAL 400 CH): This is the standard configuration with 400 channels.
t0 (-5KHz 400 CH): This configuration shifts the frequencies by -5KHz and also offers 400 channels.

Switching between t5 and t0: Press and hold the [MEM] key for one second to alternate between t5 and t0 modes.

Display Examples:

Figure 1 & 2: Illustrate the display at power-on, set to t5 mode. Figure 1 shows the initial display, and Figure 2 shows the display after 3 seconds.
Figure 3 & 4: Illustrate the display at power-on, set to t0 mode. Figure 3 shows the initial display, and Figure 4 shows the display after 3 seconds.

+10KHz Configuration

The +10KHz function can be switched on or off by pressing the [MIC GAIN HI/LO] key for one second.
