HX One Features
[Image of the Line 6 HX ONE guitar effects pedal, a compact black unit with an OLED screen displaying 'Adriatic Delay', three control knobs, navigation buttons, and two footswitches.]
The HX® One is a powerful stereo effect pedal with intuitive controls that fits onto any pedalboard. It offers access to over 250 effects from the acclaimed HX family processors, allowing users to easily adjust parameters displayed on the OLED screen using three corresponding knobs. Parameter changes can be automated via the unique Flux controller and triggered with the Tap/Flux footswitch. The pedal supports connection of an optional expression pedal or two external footswitches for enhanced control. Additional features include adjustable input impedance, a choice between True Bypass or buffered DSP Bypass, MIDI In and Out/Thru connectors, 128 Presets, and a USB-C port for firmware updates and use with the HX One Librarian application. It can be powered by the included 9V power supply or most third-party power supplies.
Behavioral Modeling
[Diagram illustrating behavioral modeling, showing a stylized representation of analog circuitry with wavy lines indicating signal flow and a cylinder with a cone representing a component being measured.]
HX Modeling technology captures the behavior of analog effects devices in precise detail by measuring individual components, resulting in authentic representations of even difficult-to-model effects such as germanium fuzz and "bucket-brigade" analog delay pedals.
Ultra-Compact
[Image showing multiple compact guitar effects pedals lined up, demonstrating how the HX ONE can fit into a crowded pedalboard setup.]
The pedal's enclosure size allows HX One to be easily integrated into your setup, including fitting on pedalboards of nearly any size.
Interaction
[Close-up of the Line 6 HX ONE's OLED screen displaying 'Adriatic Delay' with parameters 'Time', 'Scale', and 'Feedbk' adjustable by three knobs.]
Selecting and engaging effects is straightforward. To change effect settings, simply adjust the parameters displayed on the OLED screen using the three corresponding knobs.
Flux Controller
[Image of the Line 6 HX ONE's 'Flux Controller' footswitch, a round button labeled 'TAP I FLUX'.]
Flux enables you to adjust multiple effect parameters simultaneously over a predetermined period of time, all with a single footswitch press.
Adjustable Input Impedance
The Greek letter Omega (?), representing electrical impedance.
The input impedance of a pedal determines to what extent the signal from your instrument's pickup or pickups is "impeded," which affects both tone and feel. Adjustable Input Impedance enables you to compensate for pickups of various signal strengths.
External Control
[Image of a black expression pedal, designed for foot control of effect parameters.]
Connect an optional expression pedal (automatically assigned to relevant effects parameters), two assignable external footswitches, or one of each.
MIDI
[Image of a circular 5-pin DIN MIDI connector.]
MIDI In and Out/Thru connectors enable HX One to receive program change, continuous controller, and other MIDI messages from external sources.
Bypass Options
[A circular graphic with an arrow indicating a signal path, representing bypass options.]
Choose True or Buffered DSP bypass. True bypass avoids A/D/A conversion by routing analog signals directly from the input(s) to the output(s).
USB
A stylized USB symbol (?), indicating a USB-C connection.
Connect the USB C port to your computer to perform firmware updates and backup/restore the 128 onboard presets using the free HX One Librarian app.
DC Power
[Image of a black 9V DC power adapter with a cable and plug.]
HX One may be powered using the included 9V power supply or by most third-party power supplies, making it easy to add to your pedalboard.
