Limescale Removal
Regular removal of limescale deposits inside the kettle extends the appliance's lifespan, guarantees higher performance, and promotes energy saving.
The kettle can be descaled with a specific limescale remover. Follow the instructions on the limescale remover.
Alternatively, white vinegar can also be used. Proceed as follows:
- Fill the kettle with water (1 liter) and bring to a boil.
- Add white vinegar (between 0.1 and 0.5 liters, depending on the amount of limescale).
- Let it sit overnight.
- Empty the kettle.
- Fill the kettle with water and bring to a boil. Then empty the kettle. Repeat this process at least twice more.
Tips for the User:
- With frequent use or high water hardness, the risk of limescale deposits is greater.
- Limescale deposits can interrupt the kettle's operation before reaching boiling point.
- The time to reach boiling point may also increase.
- With daily use, the kettle should be cleaned more frequently. Even with high water hardness, cleaning operations should be carried out more frequently, or purified water should be used.
Do not use any limescale removers for cleaning the bathroom or kitchen, or products containing fragrances.
