General:

Charging the Battery:

  1. Connect the USB cable to the USB socket of the plug adapter and plug the adapter into the power outlet.
  2. Connect the narrow end of the USB cable (8) to the charging port of the vacuum cleaner housing (1). See Fig. 1. The indicator light will illuminate.

Assembly:

  1. Insert the filter bag with gasket (2) into the vacuum cleaner housing (1). See Fig. 2.1.
  2. Attach the cover for the suction chamber (3) by turning it clockwise to secure it to the suction chamber. See Fig. 3.
  3. Depending on the degree of soiling, use the appropriate nozzle. See Fig. 4. Note: The rib on the vacuum cleaner housing (3) fits into the groove at the end of the vacuum brush head (4) or the vacuum nozzle (5).
  4. Attach the aluminum pole (9) by pressing the spring buttons and inserting it into the handle of the vacuum cleaner (1). Ensure the buttons snap into the holes. Adjust the length of the pole by unlocking, extending, and locking each section as appropriate. See Fig. 5. Optional: The included pole adapter (10) can be used with extension poles of different sizes.

Operating Instructions:

  1. Submerge the vacuum cleaner in water and slide the switch to "1".

IMPORTANT

The vacuum cleaner will only function once its housing is completely submerged in water. Water flow from the sides of the vacuum cleaner housing indicates that the product is functioning.

  1. Gently sweep along the surface of the spa or swimming pool to remove debris.
  2. Check and empty the filter bag/micro filter bag regularly during and after each use.
  3. Follow the installation steps above in reverse order to remove and empty the filter bag/micro filter bag. Note: Rinse the vacuum cleaner housing, cover, and filter bag with a garden hose before reassembling the parts.

Maintenance and Long-Term Storage:

  1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner before cleaning, servicing, or repairing. Regularly check all components for signs of damage. Immediately replace damaged components.
  2. Disassemble the vacuum cleaner by following the installation instructions in reverse order. Clean all components with water and ensure all components are thoroughly dry before storing the product.
  3. Store the product and accessories in a dry, temperate (between 0° – 40°C (32° – 104°F)) storage location.
  4. The original packaging can be used for storage.

Troubleshooting:

ERROR SOLUTION
VACUUM CLEANER NOT FUNCTIONING
  • Charge the product, then turn on the unit. Ensure the switch is set to "1". Submerge the vacuum cleaner housing in water.
LOW SUCTION POWER
  • Choose the appropriate filter bag for filtering and install the filter bag(s) properly.
  • Check and empty the filter bag(s) regularly during and after each use.
  • Check for sand or debris in the vacuum cleaner.
  • Contact the Intex Service Center.
CHARGING FAILED
  • Check if the plug adapter has an output voltage of 5-5.2 V ± 0.1, 1 A.
  • Connect the USB cable to the USB socket of the plug adapter, plug the adapter into the power outlet first, and then connect the USB cable to the charging port in the vacuum cleaner housing.
  • Insert the USB cable firmly into the socket; the indicator light should illuminate.

Your INTEX RECHARGEABLE HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER has been manufactured to the highest quality standards. All Intex products have been inspected and found to be free of defects before leaving the factory. The limited warranty period applies only to the RECHARGEABLE HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER.

This limited warranty is in addition to, and not in lieu of, your statutory rights and remedies. Where these rights and remedies are inconsistent with this warranty, your statutory rights and remedies shall prevail. For example, consumer protection laws throughout the European Union provide for statutory warranty rights in addition to the coverage provided by this limited warranty. For information on EU-wide consumer protection laws, please visit the European Consumer Centre at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/ecc/contact_en/htm.

The terms of this limited warranty may only be asserted by the original purchaser of the product and the limited warranty is not transferable. The warranty is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase. Please keep your sales receipt with this user manual. Proof of purchase must be presented for all warranty claims or the limited warranty is void.

Should a manufacturing defect occur within the 1-year period, please contact the appropriate INTEX Service Center, which is listed in the separate "Authorized Service Centers" list. The service center will determine the validity of the claim. If the item falls under the warranty provisions, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge with an identical or comparable item (at Intex's discretion).

Other than this warranty and any statutory rights in your country, no other warranties are implied. To the extent permitted by your country, Intex shall not be liable under any circumstances to you or any third party for direct or consequential damages arising from the use of your RECHARGEABLE HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER, or from the actions of Intex or its authorized representatives and employees (including the manufacture of the product). Some countries or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you in those countries.

The following will void the limited warranty for the RECHARGEABLE HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER or is not covered by the limited warranty:

Property damage or personal injury are also not covered by this warranty.

Please read the user manual very carefully and follow all instructions regarding the proper operation and maintenance of your RECHARGEABLE HANDHELD VACUUM CLEANER. Always inspect the airbed before using it. The limited warranty will be void if the instructions are not followed.
