- For use with DALS Connect Pro™ landscape lighting system only.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, install only on a circuit protected by GFCI.
- Install at least 3 feet from ground level.
- For optimal Wi-Fi connectivity, install the transformer close to your Wi-Fi router and avoid physical obstacles.
Important: The NEC requires that appliances operating more than 3 hours per day be derated to 85% of their capacity.
- DCP-MTR60: 51W MAX.
- DCP-MTR300: 255W MAX. (127.5W PER OUTPUT)
Sum the wattage of all your smart landscape fixtures to obtain the total wattage of your run. Refer to the voltage drop chart on www.dals.com for long runs.
Connection & Installation
- Unscrew the cover to access the internal components.
- Locate the knockouts at the bottom of the transformer. Remove only the knockouts required for your installation. Unused knockouts can compromise the transformer's weather resistance.
- Install the waterproof wire strain relief.
- Push the low-voltage wire through the wire strain relief. Prepare your low-voltage wires by stripping them 5/8" (1.6 cm). Ensure the wire shield extends 1/2" (1.3cm) from the wire strain relief. Secure the wire by tightening the wire strain relief nut.
- Make the connections to the terminal block inside the transformer.
- Use the 2 mounting holes to mark the location, then install the transformer. Mounting screws are not included.
- Turn the power back on.
