Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to death, fire, or electric shock.

NOTE: If the plug does not fit the outlet, contact a qualified electrician. Do not alter the plug in any way. Assembly and Use

Mounting the Blender Arm

Before first use, clean all parts (see Maintenance and Cleaning section).

IMPORTANT: Always unplug the hand blender before attaching or removing parts.

  1. Insert the blender arm into the motor housing and twist until it clicks into place.
  2. If using the pan guard, place it on a flat surface. To attach the pan guard, first angle the blender arm into one end of the mounting clip. Gently pull the other mounting clip outwards and slide the blender arm down. Ensure the mounting clips are secure.

NOTE: The US-patented, removable pan guard helps protect your cookware.

Using the Blender Arm

Use for smoothies, milkshakes, soups, cooked vegetables, frosting, baby food, etc.

  1. Plug the hand mixer into a grounded outlet.
  2. Insert the hand blender into the mixture. Press the speed control to start.
  3. Use your free hand to cover the top of the blender jar for stability and to prevent splashing.

NOTE: Do not immerse the motor housing in liquids or other mixtures.

Use an up-and-down motion with the hand blender to move ingredients within the container. Pull it slowly upwards towards the side of the container. Repeat the process until the ingredients reach the desired consistency.

Make a circular motion with your wrist to lift the hand blender slightly, allowing it to mix the ingredients again.

Release the speed control to stop, then remove the hand blender from the mixture. Unplug the hand blender before removing or attaching parts.

NOTE: For information on chopper and whisk attachments, refer to the "Using the Product" section in the online product guide.

Maintenance and Cleaning

IMPORTANT: Let the appliance cool completely before attaching or removing parts, and before cleaning. Always unplug the hand blender before attaching or removing parts.

  1. Dishwasher safe parts (top rack): Pan guard, blender arm, blender jar, and lid.
  2. Wipe the motor housing with a damp cloth. Mild dish soap can be used, but do not use scouring agents.
