IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury to the child.
- This item is designed to carry one child in the seat.
- Never leave children unattended. Do not allow a second child to climb onto the rear ledge if the stroller is empty.
- Do not use this item for more occupants than intended by the manufacturer.
- The Pliko Switch Chassis + Pliko Switch seat is approved for infants from birth up to 15 kg.
- The Pliko Switch chassis is designed for use with Mamas & Papas Surefix products. The Pliko Switch chassis + Primo Viaggio car seat (0+ group) is approved for children from birth up to 13 kg.
- Before use, check that Mamas & Papas Surefix products are correctly fixed.
- It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended.
- Always use the 5-point harness and attach the waist strap to the leg divider strap.
- Be careful not to hurt the child when adjusting mechanisms (handlebar, backrest).
- Always apply the brake when stopped and when positioning or removing the child from the seat.
- Assembly, preparation, cleaning, and maintenance must be carried out exclusively by adults.
- Do not use this item if parts are missing or show signs of breakage.
- Before use, check that all attachment mechanisms are correctly engaged.
- Do not insert fingers into the mechanisms.
- Loads hanging on the handlebar can make the stroller unstable; follow manufacturer instructions for maximum load capacity.
- Do not place loads over 5 kilos in the basket.
- Do not place weights heavier than stated or hot drinks in the cup holder.
- Do not place weights over 0.2 Kg in the hood pockets.
- The front bar is not designed to support the child's weight or to keep the child in the seat; it does not substitute the waist belt.
- Do not use the item near stairs, steps, heat sources, naked flames, or dangerous objects within reach of the child.
- Using accessories not approved by the manufacturer could be dangerous.
- This item is not suitable for jogging or roller skating.
- Do not use the rain canopy indoors. Regularly check that the child is not overheating. Keep the stroller away from heat sources and lighted cigarettes. Ensure the rain canopy does not interfere with moving parts. Remove the rain canopy before folding.
- WARNING: Do not add a mattress pad.

Pliko Switch is a stroller with a reversible seat: facing the person pushing or facing forwards.
Pliko Switch is made up of two elements: Pliko Switch CHASSIS and Pliko Switch SEAT.
COMPONENTS OF THE ITEM

- Pliko Switch Chassis: basket, 2 swiveling or locking front wheels, 2 rear wheels with a central brake bar, and a drink holder.
- Pliko Switch Seat: front bar, hood, cover, rain canopy.
INSTRUCTIONS
- OPENING: Raise the levers on the handlebar together (fig. a) and pull upwards until the chassis is completely open (fig. b). Check that the chassis is correctly opened: the side tubes must be locked together (fig. c). Slide the two elements along the handle (fig. d).
- Rear Wheels: Attach the rear wheels to the chassis (fig. a) and secure them with screws and nuts. Place the screw on the outside (wheel side) and the nut inside, then tighten the screw (fig. b). Brake Bar: Attach the central part of the brake bar to the chassis (fig. c) and check that it has clipped into place properly (fig. d).
- FITTING THE BASKET: Slip the loops onto the hooks at the front (fig. a) and the rear (fig. b).
- FITTING THE CUP HOLDER: Insert the cup holder onto the corresponding peg and press down until it clicks into place (fig. a). The cup holder can be attached to either side of the chassis.
- ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBAR: To adjust the handlebar height, press both side buttons simultaneously (fig. a) and lock it in the desired position (fig. b).
- FIXED OR SWIVELLING FRONT WHEELS: Lift the levers to prevent wheels from swiveling (fig. a) and lower them to allow swiveling (fig. b). For uneven surfaces, set wheels to their fixed position.
- BRAKES: Press a brake lever to immobilize the chassis (fig. a) and lift to release (fig. b).
- MOUNTING THE SEAT TO THE CHASSIS: The reversible seat can be attached facing the person pushing (fig. a) or facing forwards (fig. b). Align the seat with the chassis symbols and press downwards with both hands until two clicks confirm it is locked. Ensure the seat is secure by attempting to pull it upwards by the front bar.
- REMOVING THE SEAT FROM THE CHASSIS: Press the two round buttons on the sides of the seat (fig. a), press the two levers under the armrests (fig. b), and pull up the seat (fig. c) until released. The seat can be removed/attached with a child in it.
- FRONT BAR: Before attaching, press the buttons on the sides of the armrests and remove the caps (fig. a). Guide the connections into the armrests and push towards the seat until they click (fig. b). To remove, press the two buttons and pull out (fig. c). The front bar can be opened on one side for easier child access. Replace caps if not using the front bar.
- BACKREST: To recline, lift the lever (fig. a) and choose one of four positions (fig. b).
- FOOTREST: To lower, push the two levers downwards and push the footrest down (fig. a); to raise, lift it upwards (fig. b).
- FIVE POINT SAFETY HARNESS: To fasten, push the two waist strap buckles (with shoulder straps attached) into the leg divider until they click (fig. a). To unfasten, press the center button on the buckle (fig. b) and pull out the waist straps (fig. c, fig. d).
- Waist Strap Adjustment: To tighten, pull both sides in the direction of the arrow (fig. a); to loosen, do the opposite. The waist strap can be tightened as far as the safety lock (fig. b).
- Safety Harness Height Adjustment: Release the two buckles on the rear of the backrest. Pull shoulder straps towards you (arrow a) until buckles release and insert them into backrest loops (arrow b). Remove shoulder straps from sack (arrow c) and insert into appropriate loop (arrow d), then re-attach buckles to the rear of the backrest (arrow e). Buckles are secure when a click is heard (fig. f).
- HOOD: To attach, insert connections into seat sides (fig. a) and fasten rear buttons (fig. b). To remove, disengage connections and unbutton from backrest. To raise hood, pull forward; to close, push back. To convert to sun canopy, unzip the double zipper (fig. c) and unfasten rear buttons. A toy can be hung from the hood loop (fig. d).
- COVER: Fit cover and fasten buttons under leg rest (fig. a) and on sides. For baby carriage version, raise leg rest, place cover over front bar (fig. b), and fasten to hood buttons (fig. c). For stroller version, lower footrest, insert cover under front bar, and fold top over.
- RAIN CANOPY: Before fitting, attach the hood as shown on page 12. Zip the rain cover onto the hood (A). Pull the front of the cover down over the leg rest. Fasten press studs on rain cover sides to studs on hood sides (B). To lower the front of the cover between rain showers or when indoors, unzip from the hood (C).
- REAR LEDGE: The rear ledge aids in negotiating kerbs or level differences (fig. a).
- FOLDING UP: The stroller can be folded with or without the seat. If the seat is attached, fold with it facing the person pushing (recline backrest before folding) or facing forward (raise backrest before folding, then recline once folded). To fold, slide handlebar elements as shown (fig. a), set front wheels to fixed mode, and fold the hood if attached. Raise handlebar levers one at a time until they click (fig. b) and push down on the handlebar (fig. c) to unclip front side tubes (fig. d).
- Folding Closure: Pull up the central handle (fig. e). Check chassis closure with the safety hook (fig. f). With the seat facing the person pushing, lower the handlebar to make the folded chassis more compact (fig. g). The stroller is freestanding when folded.
- TRANSPORT: Carry by the central handle with front wheels fixed (fig. a) or by the side handle (fig. b).
- REMOVABLE COVERS: Pull fabric covering off the ledge (fig. a), release armrest attachments (fig. b), unfasten backrest buttons (fig. c), and remove leg divider strap by pushing it from under the seat (fig. d).
SUREFIX ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
Surefix is a fast system to attach the Primo Viaggio car seat or Pliko Switch seat to the Surefix Base. Place the item on the Surefix Base and press down with both hands until it clicks into place.
Always apply the chassis or stroller brake before attaching and removing products (refer to respective manuals). Check that the child transport unit is properly attached.
SERIAL NUMBERS
Pliko Switch reports information as at the date of manufacture. Product name, date of manufacture, and serial number of the seat (fig. a) and carriage (fig. b) are required for complaints.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- PRODUCT MAINTENANCE: Protect from weather (water, rain, snow). Prolonged sunlight may cause color changes. Store in a dry place.
- CLEANING THE CHASSIS: Periodically clean plastic parts with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents. Keep metal parts dry. Keep moving parts clean and lubricate with light machine oil if necessary.
- CLEANING THE RAIN CANOPY: Wash with a sponge and soapy water. Do not use detergents.
- CLEANING FABRIC PARTS: Brush fabric parts to remove dust. Hand wash at a maximum of 30°C. Do not wring, use chlorine bleach, iron, or dry clean. Do not use solvent-based stain removers or dry in a tumble dryer.
