Introduction for Bird Feeder
The bird feeder consists of the following main components:
- Solar Panel: Located on the roof, it powers the device.
- Camera: Captures images and videos of birds.
- Bracket: Used for mounting the bird feeder.
- Perch: A resting place for birds.
The diagram shows how the camera is attached to the bird feeder using screws.
Introduction for Camera
The camera unit has the following features:
- Indicator Light: Shows the status of the camera.
- Infrared LED: For night vision.
- Microphone: Captures audio.
- Motion sensor: Detects movement.
- Light sensor: Adjusts camera settings based on light conditions.
- Lens: The primary optical component for image capture.
- Mounting hole: For attaching the camera.
- Speaker: For audio output.
- Power ON/OFF: Button to control the camera's power.
- Sync/Reset: Button for pairing and resetting the device.
- Charging port: For charging the camera.
- TF card slot: Supports capacity expansion up to 128GB for storing media.
Indicator Light
The indicator light on the camera signifies its operational status:
- Camera turn on: Red light always ON.
- Pairing mode: Red light fast blinking.
- Network connecting: Green light fast blinking.
- Network connected: Green light always ON.
- Abnormal status: Red light slow blinking (requires reset).
- During firmware update: Yellow light always ON.
- Charging status: White light always ON during charging and OFF after fully charged.
How to Connect to the APP
Follow these steps to connect your Smart AI Recognition Bird Feeder to the mobile application:
- Download and Install: Scan the QR code provided or search for the "Bird Lover App" on the App Store or Google Play. Download and install the app on your iOS or Android device.
- Register Device: Open the app. You will be prompted to register your device. Enter your phone number or email address and select your country. You will receive a registration code via SMS or email. Input this code and create a password.
- Pairing: Turn on the camera. The indicator light should flash quickly, and you should hear a sound.
- Add Device in App: Open the Bird Lover App and tap "Add Device". Ensure your device is in pairing mode. You can add it manually by selecting the correct model (e.g., BF11 Smart bird feeder).
- Wi-Fi Connection: Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. If your Wi-Fi is 5GHz, ensure it is set to 2.4GHz for connection.
- Scan QR Code: The app will display a QR code. Position your phone screen 15 to 20 cm away from the camera lens to scan the QR code. You should hear a prompt sound upon successful scanning.
- Complete Connection: Wait for the connection process to finish. Once added successfully, click "Done".
APP Interface Introduction
The Bird Lover App interface offers the following features:
- 1. Quality adjustment: Choose between HD or SD video quality.
- 2. Battery Remaining Capacity: Displays the current battery level.
- 3. Voice switch: Toggle audio input/output.
- 4. Zoom: Zoom in on the camera feed.
- 5. Screen adjustment: Adjust screen orientation horizontally and vertically.
- 6. Take photo: Capture a still image.
- 7. Bird recognition: AI feature to identify bird species.
- 8. Shot videos: Record video clips.
- 9. Playback for previous: Access recorded footage.
- 10. View photos or videos took: Browse captured media.
- 11. Check out the bird collection: View identified bird species.
- 12. Share the device: Share access with others.
- 13. Motion detection: Enable or disable motion detection alerts.
- 14. Device Volume: Adjust the volume of the device's speaker.
- 15. One-Way Talk: Speak through the device's speaker.
- 16. Siren: Activate an audible alarm.
- 17. Notification for motion detection: Receive alerts for detected motion.
- 18. Cloud storage service: Access cloud storage options.
- 19. History for bird recognition: View past bird identification records.
- 20. Back to all function interface: Return to the main menu.
Top Cover Installation
- Align the top cover with the groove of the birdhouse and press down.
- Connect the battery charging cable to the top cover.
- Twist and snap the top cover into place.
How to Install
- Prepare Mounting Location: Stick the provided sticker onto the tree or wall. Drill holes within the marked range on the sticker.
- Insert Screw Spacers: Insert the green plastic screw spacers into the drilled holes.
- Fix the Bracket: Use the long screws to securely attach the bracket to the tree or wall.
- Mount the Bird Feeder: Align the bird feeder with the three holes on the bracket underneath and attach it.
- Secure the Bird Feeder: Use the three short screws to fix the bird feeder to the bracket.
- Install the Perch: Attach the perch using the two screws provided in the package.
- Adjust Orientation: The birdhouse can be rotated left and right for optimal positioning.
How to Charge the Camera
- Rotate the camera downwards to access the charging port.
- Connect the solar charging cable to the camera.
- Alternatively, remove the camera from the bird feeder and charge it using the provided charging cable.
