Assembly and Set-Up
Step 1: Prepare the Handlebar Stem
Fold the handlebar stem upwards, fasten it securely, and then put down the kickstand.
Step 2: Install the Handlebar
Install the handlebar onto the stem.
Step 3: Tighten Screws
Use the T-shaped Allen key to tighten the screws on both sides of the stem.
Charging Your Scooter
The scooter is fully charged when the LED indicator on the charger changes from red (charging) to green (trickle charge).
- Lift up the rubber flap covering the charging port.
- Plug the power adapter into the charging port.
- Unplug the adapter once charging is completed.
- Put back the rubber flap.
Connecting with Mi Home / Xiaomi Home App
To unlock the full functionality and features of your scooter, connect it to the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app.
Activate Scooter
The scooter will beep and have a limited speed of 10 km/h until activated. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to activate your scooter for the first use.
Download the App
Scan the QR code provided in the manual to download and install the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app on your smartphone.
Open the App
Open the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app.
Add Device
Tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the app and follow the on-screen prompts to add your scooter.
Note: The app may be referred to as "Xiaomi Home app" in Europe (excluding Russia). Use the name displayed on your device.
How To Ride
Safety First
Warning: Always wear a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads when riding.
Getting Started
Step onto the deck with one foot, and use the other foot to push off the ground gently to start moving.
Acceleration
The accelerator will activate once your coasting speed exceeds 5 km/h.
Braking
Release the accelerator and squeeze the brake lever for a sudden stop. For a gentle stop, release the accelerator and allow the scooter to slow down.
Turning
Tilt your body in the direction of the turn and slowly turn the handlebar.
Parking
Put down the kickstand when parking the scooter.
Safety Reminders
- Always steer clear of obstacles.
- When riding over speed bumps, elevator door sills, bumpy roads, or other uneven surfaces, maintain a speed between 5-10 km/h. Bend your knees slightly to better absorb impacts.
- Be cautious and avoid hitting your head on door frames, elevators, or other overhead obstacles.
- Do not press the accelerator while walking alongside the scooter.
- Do not ride in traffic lanes or residential areas where vehicles and pedestrians share the space.
- Avoid abrupt changes in steering direction at high speeds.
- Do not hang bags or heavy items on the handlebar.
- Do not ride on one foot.
- Do not accelerate when going downhill; brake in time to slow down. For steep inclines, step off and push the scooter.
- Do not use a mobile phone or wear earphones while operating the scooter.
- Do not ride in the rain or through puddles or other water obstacles.
- Do not ride with another person, including children.
- Do not keep your feet on the rear mudguard.
- Do not touch the disc brake.
- Do not let go of the handlebar while riding.
- Do not attempt to ride up or down stairs, or jump over obstacles.
Folding and Carrying
Folding
Hold the handlebar stem, turn it counterclockwise to open the safety hook, and then open the quick release lever.
Align the bell and the buckle, and hook them together to secure the folded scooter.
Carrying
Hold the handlebar stem with one or both hands to carry the scooter.
Unfolding
When unfolding, disengage the bell lever from the buckle on the mudguard.
Adjusting the Disc Brake
Before adjustment, ensure the scooter is powered off and not charging.
If the brake is too tight or too loose:
- Use the 4 mm Allen key to loosen the screw on the caliper.
- Slightly adjust the brake line (decrease or increase the exposed length).
- Tighten the screw again.
Tire Valve Stem Maintenance
Inflating the Tire
Unscrew the valve cap from the tire valve stem.
Connect the extension nozzle to the tire valve stem.
Connect the pump to the extension nozzle and inflate the tire to the recommended pressure.
Locking Your Scooter
You can lock your scooter using the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app.
- To Lock: Select the lock icon in the app.
- To Unlock: Select the unlock icon in the app.
When the scooter is locked, the motor is immobilized, and the headlight turns off automatically. An indicator icon will appear on the control panel.
Setting a Password:
Tap "More Settings" within the app, then select "Set password" to create a password for your scooter.
Note: If no password is set, the scooter can be unlocked by the app from any phone. It is recommended to set a password as soon as possible. If you forget your password, visit www.mi.com or contact customer support.
