Failure to follow the precautions may result in the product not functioning properly.
Before installing the Tapo device, check your home internet environment.
(Important) While connected to your home Wi-Fi router via your smartphone, check your smartphone's IP address.
How to check IP address on Android:

If the IP address does not start with 192.168.XXX.XXX or 172.30.XXX.XXX as shown in the example screenshot, your router is not properly connected to the internet. You need to reconnect the cables.
Check the cable connections of your router. Ensure the cable from the modem or wall is connected to the router's "WAN port" or "Internet port", then check again to see if the IP address has changed.

Precautions Before Using Tapo Devices
Failure to follow the precautions may result in the product not functioning properly.
- The Tapo device must be connected to your home router.
- Connect to a router that allows you to change the Wi-Fi name and password.
- If you live in an apartment, the basic router provided in the ceiling may not be usable.
- Public Wi-Fi in cafes or commercial areas cannot be used.
- For wired hubs, connection to a carrier modem (device without an antenna) is not possible.
- If you replace the connected router or change the Wi-Fi name and password, you must reset the device and install it again.
- If you move the Tapo device to a different location after completing the installation, you must also reset the device and install it again.
- The Tapo device will not function properly in locations without internet access.
- The Tapo H110 Hub uses IR (Infrared).
- It can only control devices that operate with infrared remote controls; it does not support RF wireless frequency communication.
- If the hub is not functioning normally, first check the LED status.
- Refer to the respective website for product LED status indications.
- If you are unsure about the problem, first try unplugging the power and plugging it back in to see if it works normally.
Hub Reset Method
- Turn on the hub's power.
- Press and hold the oval button on the side of the hub body.
- Check if the LED blinks rapidly in amber and white. (Do not unplug the power during this process.)
