New in This Release
Storage Center Management Pack v4.1 has added the following new functionality:
- Support for Dell Storage Manager 2018 R1
- Support for Dell Storage Manager 2019 R1
- Support for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager version 2016
- Support for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager version 2019
- Support for System Center Virtual Machine Manager version 2016
- Support for System Center Virtual Machine Manager version 2019
Installation Requirements
The following table provides the installation requirements for the Storage Center Management Pack Version 4.1.
[NOTE] The Management pack upgrade from 4.0.1 to 4.1 is not required for SCOM 2012 R2 as there are no new features added in SCOM 4.1 release.

TCP Port | By default, port 3033 is used for communication between the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Provider and the Storage Manager Data Collector. |
Server | Must be monitored by SCOM and have a monitoring agent installed. |
Known Issues
The following table lists known issues in this release of the Dell Storage Center Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.
Issue | Description |
---|---|
SCOM-72 | VM host iSCSI volumes are not populating in Microsoft SCOM 2019. Workaround: View iSCSI VM host volumes by remotely connecting to SCVMM 2019 host. |
SCOM-38 | If version 4.0 of the Storage Center Management Pack is installed, running the version 4.0.1 installer does not prompt for the update. Instead it proceeds with the update because it is a minor build update. After the update completes, verify in Add/Remove programs that the version number is updated to version 4.0.1. |
