Installation Instructions
DC2
- Remove the protective covering from the underside of the cooler.
- Apply thermal paste to the CPU surface.
Caution: The thermal paste supplied should not be swallowed. If ingested, drink plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
DC2 Pro
- Clean the cooler and CPU surfaces with the alcohol pad. Ensure surfaces are dry and free of residues.
- Screw the syringe needle onto the liquid metal thermal paste.
- Apply a small drop of liquid metal thermal paste to the CPU surface.
- Spread the liquid metal thermal paste evenly with the cotton swabs.
- Mount the cooler.
CAUTION: Do not use the thermal grease on Heatpipe-Direct-Touch coolers or aluminum surfaces. Liquid metal thermal grease is only compatible with copper, gold, silver, lead, and zinc. It is harmless for nickel-plated surfaces. The DC2 Pro is electrically conductive. Avoid contact with electronic components to prevent short circuits. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep away from children. In case of swallowing or eye contact, consult a doctor immediately.
