Warranty Information
be quiet! offers a 3-year manufacturer guarantee for consumers on new products, valid from the original purchase date from an authorized dealer. Warranty claims require a copy of the purchase receipt. Modifications, structural changes, or damage from external mechanical forces void the warranty. Full warranty conditions are available on www.bequiet.com. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable period, with replaced products warranted for the remainder of the original period or thirty days, whichever is longer. Exclusions include normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, damage from misuse, accidents, acts of nature, unauthorized repairs, and shipping damage. be quiet!'s liability is limited to repair or replacement. Installation Instructions
Intel® Socket Installation
Step 1: Mounting the Cooler
To install the be quiet! Pure Rock Slim cooler (1), press the Intel® push pins (4) into the matching sockets on the motherboard.

Step 2: Removing the Cooler (if necessary)
To remove the cooler (1), first rotate the Intel® push pins (4) counter-clockwise and then lift them out.

AMD™™ Socket Installation
Step 1: Preparing for AMD™™ Mounting
To mount the cooler (1) on an AMD™™ motherboard, first remove the Intel® push pin clamps (4) using the recessed screws on the underside.
Step 2: Attaching the AMD™™ Clamp
Lead the AMD™™ metal mounting clamp (5) through the heat sink and place it in the center on the locking guide. Then, pull the AMD™™ metal mounting clamp (5) over the AMD™™ retention module and rotate the lever to secure it.

Fan Mounting and Connection
Step 1: Mount the Fan
Mount the be quiet! fan (2) onto the cooler unit (1) using the fan clips (3).
Step 2: Connect the Fan
Connect the fan cable to the motherboard's PWM signal header.
