Safety Information
General Safety Instructions:
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose as described in the manual.
- Ensure the appliance is properly installed and grounded by a qualified installer.

- Disconnect power before servicing.
- Do not use areas with glowing spots or signs of damage.

- Do not store paper, plastic, pot holders, linens, gasoline, or other flammable vapors and liquids in the oven.
- Avoid wearing loose-fitting or hanging garments.
- Do not let cooking grease accumulate in or near the oven.
- Do not store flammable materials or temperature-sensitive items inside the appliance during remote operation.
Fire Safety:
- In case of fire, do not use water. Use a multi-purpose dry chemical or foam-type fire extinguisher.
- If a fire occurs during baking, turn the oven off and wait for it to go out. Do not force the door open.
Oven Safety:
- Stand away from the range when the oven door is open.
- If a heating element glows, turn off the appliance and have it serviced.
- Do not pull racks to the stop-locks or fully open them.
- Never place cooking utensils, pizza or baking stones, or any type of foil or liner on the oven floor.
- Keep the oven vent free from grease buildup.
- When using cooking or roasting bags, follow the manufacturer's directions.
- Before replacing the oven light bulb, disconnect electrical power.
- The glass cover and bulb should be removed when cool.
Self-Cleaning Oven Safety:
- Do not touch oven surfaces during self-clean operation.
- Do not clean oven liners, door gaskets, or the ceramic inner walls during the self-cleaning cycle.
- Allow the oven to cool down completely after the self-cleaning cycle.
Shipping Film and Packaging Tape:
- Carefully grasp and peel protective shipping film with fingers.
- Remove all film before using the appliance.
- Ensure all adhesive is removed.
Proper Disposal:
- Dispose of or recycle your appliance in accordance with Federal and Local regulations.
Using the Oven
Single Wall Oven Controls
Control button shapes are representative. Your oven may have alternate button shapes. Control buttons are designed to become visible when the oven door is opened or if the controls are pressed in the area of a button.
- Convection Cooking Modes: Convection cooking modes use increased air circulation to improve performance. Modes include Bake, Broil, and Warm.
- Traditional Cooking Modes: Modes include Bake, Broil, and Warm.
- Clean: For cleaning the oven.
- Start/Enter: Must be pressed to start any cooking, cleaning, or timed function.
- Cancel/Off: Cancels ALL oven operations except the clock and timer.
- Timer: Works as a countdown timer.
- Air Fry: A special, no-preheat convection cooking mode designed to produce foods with a crisper exterior than traditional oven cooking.
- Lock Controls: Locks out the control panel to prevent accidental activation.
- Oven Light: Turns the oven light on or off.
- Options and Settings: Accesses detailed menus for additional functions and cooking modes.
Double Wall Oven Controls
Similar to single wall ovens, with controls for upper and lower ovens.
Options
The options pad opens a menu of more cooking modes when the oven is off. Options include Cook Time, Delay Time, and Probe.
- Cook Time: Counts down cooking time.
- Delay Time: Delays when the oven will turn on.
- Probe: Used with the temperature probe for internal food temperature monitoring.
Settings
The Options and Settings pads open up more detailed menus. Settings include WiFi Connect, Clock, Auto Conv (Auto Conversion), Auto Off, Sound, F/C (Fahrenheit or Celsius), Adjust Oven Temperature, and Oven Info.
- WiFi Connect and Remote Enable: Allows remote operation of the oven via a smartphone or tablet.
- Clock: Sets the oven clock time and display format (12-hour, 24-hour, or Off).
- Auto Conv: Automatically converts baking temperatures to convection bake temperatures.
- Auto Off: Shuts the oven down after 12 hours of continuous operation.
- Sound: Adjusts alert volume and tone.
- F/C: Changes temperature display between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
- Adjust Oven Temperature: Allows adjustment of oven temperature by up to +/- 35°F.
- Oven Info: Displays Model Number and Software Version.
Sabbath Mode
Disables oven lights, the oven will not turn on when the door is opened, and all sounds are off. Can be used for Jewish Sabbath requirements.
- Setting Sabbath Mode: Press Settings, select Sabbath, and Turn On. A bracket symbol will appear.
- Starting a Continuous Bake: Press the Bake pad, select desired temperature and cooking time.
- Starting a Timed Bake: Press Bake, select temperature, then select cooking time.
- Exiting Sabbath Mode: Press and hold the Settings pad.
Oven Racks
Your oven has six rack positions. Recommended rack positions for various foods are provided in the Cooking Guide. Adjusting rack position is one way to impact cooking results.
- Traditional Flat Racks: Pull the rack out to the bump (stop position) on the rack support.
- Extension Racks: Always pull the rack out by its upper front rail to its fully open position. Extension racks cannot be used in the top rack position.
- Lubricating the Paddle: Shake lubricant and apply to moving parts.
Aluminum Foil and Oven Liners
Do not use foil or oven liners to cover the oven bottom. This can trap heat, melt, and cause damage or fire. Keep foil at least 1-1/2" from oven walls to prevent poor heat circulation.
Cookware
Cookware Guidelines:
- The material, finish, and size of cookware affect baking performance.
- Dark, coated, and dull pans absorb heat more readily.
- Shiny pans produce more evenly cooked baked goods.
- Glass and ceramic pans retain heat slowly.
- Air insulated pans heat slowly and can reduce bottom browning.
- Keep cookware clean to promote even heating.
Cooking Modes
Baking and Roasting Modes:
- Traditional Bake: For baking and roasting.
- Broil Hi/Lo: For intense heat or searing.
- Convection Bake: Uses increased air circulation for baking.
- Convection Roast: Uses increased air circulation for roasting.
- Proof: For dough proofing.
- Warm: Keeps food warm.
- Air Fry: No-preheat convection cooking for crispy foods.
Probe
The temperature probe is used for internal food temperature monitoring. It can be used with Bake, Convection Bake, and Convection Roast modes.
- Proper Probe Placement: Insert the probe into the food, ensuring the tip is in the thickest part of the food.
- Probe Care: Handle the probe with care to avoid damage.

Care and Cleaning
Oven
Control Panel: Clean with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Oven Exterior: Clean with mild soap and water. For stainless steel, use a mild cleaner and a non-abrasive sponge.
Painted Surfaces and Stainless Steel: Clean with mild soap and water or a vinegar and water solution. Do not use commercial cleaners or abrasive powders.
Oven Interior
Manual Cleaning: Use mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads.
Steam Clean Mode: Fill the oven with water and run the steam clean cycle. This helps loosen light soils.
Self-Clean Mode
Read Self-Cleaning Oven Safety Instructions before use. The oven door locks during the cycle. Allow the oven to cool completely after the cycle.
Oven Racks
Racks can be cleaned with warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Probe
Clean the probe with soap and water or a soap-filled scouring pad. Cool the probe before storing.
Oven Light
Shock or Burn Hazard: Disconnect power before replacing the bulb. The glass cover and bulb should be removed when cool.
Oven Door
Oven Door Removal: Lift the oven door as far as it will go. Remove hinge bracket (if present). Push both hinge locks down toward the door frame. Lift the door off the hinge.
Replacing the Oven Door: Align the hinge slots with the hinge pins. Lift the door fully open. Secure the hinge bracket.
Troubleshooting Tips
This section provides solutions for common oven problems:
- Oven not cooking like old one: New ovens may have different cooking systems. Adjust temperature settings as needed.
- Food not baking/broiling properly: Check controls, rack position, cookware, and temperature settings.
- Oven temperature too hot/cold: Adjust temperature settings.
- Oven not working: Check fuse or circuit breaker. Ensure oven is not in Sabbath Mode.
- "Crackling" or "popping" sound: Normal sound of metal heating and cooling.

- Oven light not working: Tighten or replace bulb.
- Oven will not self-clean: Check controls, ensure temperature is not too high, or clean the oven manually.
- Excessive smoking during clean cycle: Clean up excess soil and reset the clean cycle.
- Oven door not open after clean cycle: Allow oven to cool.
- Flashes in the display: Check error codes or reset controls.
- "F" and a number/letter in display: Function error code.
- Display goes blank: Check fuse or circuit breaker.
- Power outage, clock, or timer flashes: Reset the clock and any cooking functions.
- "Burning" or "oily" odor from vent: Normal during first few uses or self-clean cycle.
- Fan noise: Normal cooling fan operation.
- Oven door glass has "unintended" or "rainbow" color: Normal, may be due to heat and cleaning agents.
- Oven takes longer to preheat: Check cookware or food, or add more racks.
- Oven will not work remotely: Check router, Wi-Fi signal, or oven connection.
