Safe Instructions
WARNING: Carefully read and save these instructions for safe operations.
- Do not modify the ladder/platform design.
- Do not move the ladder/platform while standing on it.
- Do not use in bad weather (wind, rain, snow). Use in clear weather is recommended.
Before Use
- Ensure you are fit to use a ladder. Certain medical conditions, medications, alcohol, or drug abuse can make ladder use unsafe.
- When transporting ladders on roof bars or in a truck, ensure they are placed to prevent damage.
- Inspect the ladder after delivery and before first use to confirm its condition and operation.
- Visually check the ladder daily for damage and safety before use.
- Professional users should perform regular periodic inspections.
- Ensure the ladder is suitable for the task.
- Do not use a damaged ladder. Ensure the ladder is securely installed before use to prevent injury.
- Remove any contamination (wet paint, mud, oil, snow) from the ladder.
- Before using a ladder at work, conduct a risk assessment according to local legislation.
- Do not overload the ladder to avoid personal injury.
- Do not use the ladder with two or more people simultaneously.
- Minors should use ladders only under adult guidance.
- Climb up or down slowly to avoid injury from falling or bumping.
- Before using a ladder after a long period of disuse, check for looseness.
- Before installation, ensure the dock mounting plate is solid and ready.
- Do not install a ladder if the dock mounting plate is rotten.
Positioning and Erecting the Ladder
- Erect the ladder at the correct position and angle.
- Ensure the ladder is on an even, level, and unmoveable base.
- A leaning ladder should lean against a flat, non-fragile surface and be secured.
- Consider the risk of collision with pedestrians, vehicles, or doors when positioning. Secure doors (not fire exits) and windows in the work area.
- Identify any electrical risks in the work area, such as overhead lines.
- Stand on the ladder's feet, not the rungs or steps.
- Do not position ladders on slippery surfaces unless additional measures are taken to prevent slipping or ensure cleanliness.
Using the Ladder
- Do not exceed the maximum total load capacity.
- Do not overreach; keep your navel inside the stiles and both feet on the step/rung.
- Use ladders only for light work of short duration.
- Use non-conductive ladders for unavoidable live electrical work.
- Do not use the ladder in adverse weather conditions like strong wind.
- Take precautions against children playing on the ladder.
- Secure doors (not fire exits) and windows in the work area.
- Face the ladder when ascending and descending.
- Maintain a secure grip when ascending and descending.

Installation Instruction
Installation preparation:
- Two or more people are recommended for assembly.
- Prepare a carpet or mat to protect the floor when laying out accessories.
- Wear gloves to avoid scratches from sharp parts during installation.
- Open all boxes and check if accessories are complete and in good condition.
- If using power tools, set them to a low speed in advance.
- When installing, align all holes first and do not tighten screws completely until the end to avoid difficulty.
Installation:
STEP 1: Pair the ladder steps (E) with a non-slip mat (D).
STEP 2: Install the ladder steps as shown. Pass bolts through the mounting holes from top to bottom.
STEP 3: Install upright rods (H) and supporting legs (G, F). Pass bolts through the mounting holes from inside out.
STEP 4: Install ladder handrails (I). Pass bolts through the mounting holes from inside out.
STEP 5: Re-confirm all parts are locked. Install the ladder on the dock mounting plate.
Note: This product includes accessories for wooden dock mounting plates. Other installation methods may require additional accessories.
Dock Mounting Plate Installation Notes:
- For Wooden Dock Mounting Plate: Recommended thickness greater than 50mm. Place the ladder at the appropriate position and secure with supplied tapping nails (A).
- For Concrete Dock Mounting Plate: Recommended thickness greater than 80mm. Mark installation holes, remove ladder, drill 8mm diameter holes, 70mm deep. Install M6*60 expansion bolts and lock the nut.
- For Iron Dock Mounting Plate: Recommended thickness greater than 5mm. Mark installation holes, remove ladder, drill 5.5mm diameter holes. Tap M6 threads and use stainless steel M6 bolts with gaskets to secure the ladder.
The installation for FT-06 is the same as FT-04.
Cleaning, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Before use, ensure the dock ladder is installed and fixed firmly.
- When assembling, do not tighten all screws first; lock them completely after installation.
- If parts are slightly deformed, they can be corrected with a mallet or other tools.
- Do not overload the ladder.
- If the ladder wobbles, stop using it, check for looseness, and tighten it again.
- After each use, remove sand and dirt and rinse with water.
- If the ladder is not used for a long time, disassemble and store it.
- Stop using the ladder and replace any seriously damaged parts.
Before storing, clean and dry the ladder and store it in a dry, ventilated environment.
