HOW TO USE YOUR LUNA™ 4 play

UNLOCK YOUR DEVICE

Before first use, download the FOREO For You mobile app to unlock and register your device. Follow these simple steps:

1. Download the FOREO For You app on your mobile phone.
2. Log in to your existing account, or sign up for a new one.
3. Add device (on the top of your screen).
4. Choose the device series.
5. Follow the instructions on the app and fill in the purchase information.

And your device is ready to use!

NOTE: LUNA™ 4 play may be locked when first unboxed – unlock it by holding down the + and – buttons together. The light will flash to indicate that your device is unlocked. Should you wish to lock your device for travel convenience, follow the same procedure.

USING YOUR DEVICE

1. APPLY CLEANSER: Apply your facial cleanser evenly over damp face & neck. For optimal results, FOREO recommends FOREO Micro-Foam Cleanser, as it transforms into delicate microbubbles that work very well with LUNA™ 4 play.
2. CLEANSE: Wet LUNA™ 4 play. Then press the universal button to turn on your device. You can adjust the intensity of the T-Sonic™ pulsations with the + and buttons. Then glide the device in circular motions over your face & neck for up to 1 minute, or until skin is cleansed.
3. RINSE: Once finished, press the universal button to turn off LUNA™ 4 play (or it will automatically turn off after 1 min). Then rinse your face & neck, and the device.

NOTE: Avoid using clay-based, silicone-based or grainy cleansers, exfoliators or scrubs, as they may damage the device's soft silicone touchpoints.

TIP: You can customize your device to your preferences on the FOREO app.

CLEANING YOUR LUNA™ 4 play

Always clean LUNA™ 4 play thoroughly after use. Wash the brush surface with water and soap, then rinse with warm water. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth or towel. For optimal results, spray the device with FOREO Silicone Cleaning Spray once a week, and rinse with warm water.

NOTE: Never use cleaning products containing alcohol, petrol, or acetone, as they may irritate the skin and damage the silicone.

IMPORTANT

FOR OPTIMUM SAFETY:

• If you have a skin condition or any medical concerns, please consult a dermatologist before use.
• Cleansing with LUNA™ 4 play should be comfortable – if you experience discomfort, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
• Exercise particular care when cleansing the under-eye regions and do not bring the device into contact with the eyelids or eyes themselves.
• For reasons of hygiene, do not share your LUNA™ 4 play with anyone else.
• Avoid leaving your LUNA™ 4 play in direct sunlight and never expose it to extreme heat or boiling water.
• Close supervision is necessary when this device is used by, on, or near children and those with reduced physical and mental abilities.
• Discontinue use if this product appears damaged in any way. This product contains no serviceable parts.
• Given the efficiency of the FOREO cleansing routine, do not use LUNA™ 4 play for more than 3 minutes at a time.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Precautions to be taken in the event of changes in the performance of LUNA™ 4 play.

• If LUNA™ 4 play is not activated when pressing the universal button:
  • Battery is dead: Recharge using USB charging cable for up to 2 hours until fully charged, and then restart your device by holding down the universal button.
  • Interface is locked: Unlock it by holding down + and – buttons together.
• If LUNA™ 4 play cannot be switched off and/or interface buttons do not respond:
  • Microprocessor is temporarily malfunctioning: Press and hold universal button to restart the device.
• If LUNA™ 4 play won't sync to the FOREO app:
  • Ensure that your device is fully charged and that your Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Switch your Bluetooth off and then on again to try reconnecting.
  • Close the FOREO app and then reopen it to restart the process.
  • Delete and reinstall the application - perhaps the application simply needs to be updated. After deleting and reinstalling the application, make sure to restart your phone.
  • Delete your phone's cookies and cache memory.

DISPOSAL INFORMATION

Disposal of old electronic equipment (applicable in the EU and other European countries with separate waste collection systems).

This device should not be treated as household waste, but rather be brought to the appropriate collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this device is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent the potential negative consequences for the environment and human health which could be caused by inappropriate waste handling of the device. The recycling of materials will also help conserve natural resources.

BATTERY REMOVAL

NOTE: This process is not reversible. This action must only be undertaken when the device is ready to be disposed of. Because this device contains a lithium-ion battery, the battery must be removed before disposal and should not be thrown away with household waste. To remove the battery, open the inner plastic shell after removing silicone outer layer and remove the battery to be disposed of in accordance with your local environmental regulations. Wear gloves during this process for your safety. Detailed visual instructions are provided below.

A visual guide shows the steps for battery removal: 1. Remove the silicone outer layer. 2. Pry open the inner plastic shell. 3. Locate and remove the battery. 4. Dispose of the battery according to local regulations.
