Installation Instructions
The following steps detail the installation process. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance. Note that some steps may vary slightly between Sigma 12 cm and Sigma 8 cm models.
Section A: Sigma 12 cm Installation
Step A: The diagram shows two types of flush plate mechanisms, one with two circular openings and one with a rectangular opening, alongside the corresponding cistern frames. This step likely involves identifying the correct mechanism for the Sigma 12 cm model.
Step 1: Depicts attaching a blue mounting frame to a wall grid. Arrows indicate the direction of attachment, and numbers 1 and 2 point to connection points on the frame and wall structure.
Step 2: Shows the blue frame being positioned against the wall. Arrows indicate securing the frame, with numbers 1 and 2 highlighting attachment points or clips.
Step 3: Illustrates inserting the blue frame into its final position within the wall cavity. Arrows show the frame being pushed into place, with clips or locking mechanisms indicated.
Step 4: Shows the internal cistern mechanism being connected to the frame. Components are shown being slotted or clicked into place.
Step 5: Depicts the water supply connection being made to the cistern. A hose and connector are shown being attached.
Step 6: Illustrates flushing the system. A timer shows 00:00:30, indicating a flush duration. Water is shown flowing into a basin, and a connection is being made to the water inlet pipe.
Step 7: Shows the water inlet connection being secured. A threaded connector is being tightened, with an eye icon suggesting inspection for leaks.
Step 8: Depicts the final tightening of the water inlet connection. A hand icon with a circular arrow indicates rotation for tightening.
Step 9: Illustrates adjustments to the frame or cistern. Arrows indicate upward and downward movement, and symbols show a checkmark (✓) for correct adjustment and a cross (✗) for incorrect.
Step 10: Shows the flush plate mechanism being prepared for attachment. Components are being folded or adjusted.
Step 11: Depicts the mounting plate being attached to the frame. Arrows indicate the direction of placement and securing.
Step 12: Shows precise alignment of the mounting plate. A measurement of "0 mm" is indicated, suggesting flush mounting. Arrows show horizontal and vertical adjustments.
Step 13: Details the attachment of the mounting plate. Part 1 shows a close-up of a locking mechanism. Part 2 shows the plate being angled and secured at 90 degrees.
Step 14: Illustrates attaching the flush plate to the mounting plate. Arrows show insertion and securing. A distance of "2–5 cm" is indicated, possibly for clearance. Recycling symbol and checkmark suggest proper disposal or confirmation.
Step 15: Shows the flush plate being attached. Part 1 shows a close-up of a screw or clip being engaged. Part 2 shows the plate being angled and secured.
Step 16: Depicts final adjustments to the flush plate. Part 1 shows a connection point. Part 2 shows a 90-degree rotation for securing. Part 3 shows the flush plate being attached.
Step 17: Shows the flush plate fully attached. An eye icon suggests visual inspection. A checkmark (✓) indicates successful installation.
Step 18: Illustrates checking the flush plate alignment and function. One diagram shows the plate correctly aligned. Another shows the plate with a "3 mm" gap and screws, suggesting a final adjustment or fixing method.
Step 19: Shows the flush volume settings. One diagram indicates a 6-liter flush (6 l) with an arrow pointing to the larger flush button. Another indicates a 3-liter flush (3 l) with an arrow pointing to the smaller flush button.
Section B: Sigma 8 cm Installation
Step B: Similar to Step A, this shows the flush plate mechanisms and cistern frames, likely for the Sigma 8 cm model.
Step 1: Depicts attaching a blue mounting frame to a wall grid, similar to Step 1 in Section A.
Step 2: Shows the blue frame being positioned against the wall, similar to Step 2 in Section A.
Step 3: Illustrates inserting the blue frame into its final position within the wall cavity.
Step 4: Shows the internal cistern mechanism being connected to the frame.
Step 5: Depicts the water supply connection being made to the cistern.
Step 6: Illustrates flushing the system with a timer and water flow, similar to Step 6 in Section A.
Step 7: Shows the water inlet connection being secured, similar to Step 7 in Section A.
Step 8: Depicts the final tightening of the water inlet connection, with a checkmark (✓) and cross (✗) symbols indicating correct and incorrect states.
Step 9: Shows the flush plate mechanism being prepared for attachment, similar to Step 10 in Section A.
Step 10: Shows the mounting plate being attached to the frame.
Step 11: Depicts precise alignment of the mounting plate with "0 mm" indicated.
Step 12: Details the attachment of the mounting plate, showing a 90-degree securing angle.
Step 13: Illustrates attaching the flush plate to the mounting plate, with arrows indicating movement.
Step 14: Shows the flush plate being attached, with a clearance of "2–5 cm" indicated.
Step 15: Shows the flush plate being attached, with close-ups of securing mechanisms.
Step 16: Depicts final adjustments to the flush plate, including a 90-degree rotation for securing.
Step 17: Shows the flush plate fully attached, with visual inspection indicated.
Step 18: Illustrates checking the flush plate alignment and function, showing flush volumes (6L and 3L) with corresponding button indications.
