The Carrier Comfort Network (CCN) is an advanced system designed for controlling heating, ventilating, and cooling (HVAC) equipment. It utilizes microprocessor-based controls to enable efficient coordination of building systems and simplify problem identification.

A CCN system comprises various "system elements" linked via a dedicated communications bus. Key components include:
