Intended Use

The FAME DD6600 product is designed for use as an electronic drum set. By striking the pads, an artificial drum sound is simulated in various forms via an electronic module and reproduced optionally via headphones or external speakers. The device must be operated exclusively for this purpose and in accordance with the user manual. Other uses, as well as operation under different operating conditions, are expressly not intended and can lead to damage to property or persons! No liability is assumed for damage resulting from non-intended use.

It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and qualified users who are in full possession of their mental, physical, and sensory faculties. Use by other persons is expressly permitted only upon request by a person responsible for their safety, who will guide or supervise the use.

Attention! After assembly, please ensure the Mesh Heads are tightened appropriately!

Important Safety Information! Please read before connecting!

CAUTION! (Electromagnetic Interference)
The normal function of the product can be disturbed by strong electromagnetic interference. If this applies, simply reset the device to resume normal operation by following the user manual. If the function could not be resumed, please use the product in a different location.

DANGER! (For Babies and Children)
Dispose of or store any packaging material properly! Packaging material must be stored out of reach of babies and children due to the risk of suffocation. Ensure that children never use the device unsupervised! Also, make sure that children do not remove any (small) parts from the device, as they could suffocate by swallowing parts!

DANGER! (Electric Shock due to High Voltages in the Device)
The housing must not be removed! There are no serviceable parts inside the device. Inside the device are components that are under high electrical voltage. Before each use, check the device for damage or missing components, protective devices, or housing parts. If any such issues are found, the device must not be used! Entrust maintenance and repair work to a qualified service workshop or contact your dealer.

DANGER! (Electric Shock due to Short Circuit)
Modifications to the power cord or power plug are prohibited. In case of damage to the power cord, it must be replaced immediately with an original spare part from the manufacturer. Failure to do so can lead to fire or life-threatening electric shock!

WARNING! (Possible Hearing Damage)
The device can produce volumes that can lead to temporary or permanent hearing impairment. Even seemingly critical levels can cause hearing damage over a longer period. Reduce the volume immediately if ear ringing or hearing loss occurs. If this is not possible, maintain a greater distance or use adequate hearing protection.

Note! (Risk of Fire due to Overheating)
The maximum permissible ambient temperature for this device is 40°C. Ensure that the device is placed in a well-ventilated location, away from direct heat sources, open flames, and flammable materials and liquids. The ventilation slots of the device must not be covered, nor should the device be covered.

Note! (Operating Conditions)
Due to its construction, the device is designed for indoor use (IP20). Never expose the device to rain, moisture, or liquids, as this can lead to damage. Vibrations, dust, or sunlight can also cause damage; avoid these! Do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls. Be careful not to let paper, metal, or other objects get into the device. In such a case, unplug the power adapter from the socket. Have the device checked by qualified service personnel. Disconnect all cables before moving the device.

Note! (Power Supply)
Always check that the device voltage matches your local mains voltage. The protection of your mains socket with a residual current circuit breaker (FI) is strongly recommended. Then connect the appropriate power adapter to a socket. If you do not use your device for a longer period, disconnect the device from the mains to minimize risks. The same applies to adverse weather conditions such as thunderstorms or floods, etc.

Note! (Use in Racks)
When the device is mounted on a rack, always ensure a secure and stable stand.

Note! (Commissioning)
All connections of the device should be made before switching it on. Use only high-quality cables for the connections.

Note! (Installation)
Before use, always check the device for damage before using it. Ideally, use the original packaging or suitable transport or storage packaging to optimally protect the product from influences such as dust or moisture, etc. when not in use.

Note! (Possible Damage from Magnetic Fields)
Loudspeakers generate a static magnetic field. Please maintain a reasonable distance from other devices that may be affected by an external magnetic field or could be damaged.

Note! (Possible Interference with Other Electrical Devices)
Radios and televisions placed nearby can cause reception interference. Therefore, operate this device at an appropriate distance from them. If the device causes interference with radio or television, you can try to resolve the interference with these measures:

Realign the receiving antenna or move it to another location.
Increase the distance between this device and the devices with interference.
Connect this device to a different power circuit than the other devices.
Contact the dealer or an experienced radio/television technician.
