1. Product Description

1.1 Packing List

1.2 Cutting Machine Parts

The cutting machine includes the following parts:

  • Type-C Port (for data transmission only)

2. Preparation Before Use

2.1 Machine Inspection

Place the cutting machine on a flat, dry surface. Ensure a minimum of 20cm (approximately 8 inches) of space is left behind the machine for proper operation.

2.2 Blade Inspection

  1. Open the front cover of the cutting machine.
  2. Verify that the blade inside the clamp is correctly installed. (Note: The blade is pre-installed upon delivery and is ready for use.)

2.3 Power Supply Connection

  1. Insert the power cord (02) into the power adapter (01).
  2. Insert the round end of the power adapter (01) into the power port of the machine.
  3. Plug the power cord (02) into an electrical outlet.
  4. If the power indicator light on the top of the machine is solid green, the machine is powered on.

A flashing blue connection indicator light signifies that the machine is ready for connection.

3. Software Download

3.1 Download the Mobile App

Method 1: Search for the "Likcut" app on the App Store® or Google Play™ to download and install.

Method 2: Scan the QR code to download the app. You can use your phone's camera, a built-in browser scanner, or a dedicated scanner app.

Note: The Safari browser on Apple devices does not support QR code scanning. Please use your device's built-in code scanner instead.

3.2 Download the Desktop App

Visit support.likcut.com to download and install the desktop application. Choose the installer package compatible with your operating system.

4. Quick Start Guide

4.1 For the Mobile App

  1. Open the "Likcut" app.
  2. Select or search for a design on the homepage and import it to the canvas.
  3. Adjust the design on the canvas to your preferred size, then click [Make].
  4. Grant necessary permissions and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the cutting machine. Your phone will prompt for connection permissions.
  5. Select the size of the cutting mat (06) and the corresponding material type.
  6. Feed the material into the machine. Click [Start] once detection is complete.
  7. Remove the mat from the machine after the cutting process is finished.
  8. Use the weeder (04) on the mat to carefully remove the excess parts of the design.
  9. The weeding process is now complete.
  10. Remove the grid transfer tape (09) and attach its adhesive side to the design.
  11. Use your hand or a tool to press the transfer tape (09) firmly onto the design, then peel the tape away from the bottom. If the design is not transferring successfully, press more firmly on the design area of the tape.
  12. Attach the design to a clean, flat, and dry surface. Press the design area tightly with your hands.
  13. Remove the transfer tape (09). If the design remains on the tape, press more firmly on the design area before peeling.

4.2 For the Desktop App

4.2.1 Wired Connection

  1. Insert the Type-A (wider) end of the data cable (03) into a USB port on your computer.
  2. Insert the Type-C (narrower) end of the cable (03) into the cutting machine's port.
  3. Open the Likcut desktop application.
  4. Select or search for a design on the homepage and import it to the canvas.
  5. Adjust the design on the canvas to your preferred size, then click [Make].
  6. Select your Likcut S501 machine from the list and connect.

4.2.2 Wireless Connection

  1. On your computer, enable Bluetooth and access its settings.
  2. Open the Likcut desktop application.
  3. Select or search for a design on the homepage and import it to the canvas.
  4. Adjust the design on the canvas to your preferred size, then click [Make].
  5. Select your Likcut S501 machine from the list and connect via Bluetooth.

4.2.3 Guide After Connection

  1. Select the size of the cutting mat (06) and the corresponding material type.
  2. For instructions on mat loading and subsequent operations, please refer to Section 4.1, Steps 6-13 in this guide.

5.2 Safety Instructions

  1. The weeder is sharp. Please use it carefully and keep it away from children.
  2. To avoid damage to the cutting machine, DO NOT insert the Cutting Mat or other materials from the back of the machine.
  3. To prevent pinching, DO NOT touch the inside of the cutting machine while it is running. Ensure children DO NOT put their hands inside the cutting machine.
  4. The blade is sharp. Please use it carefully and keep the blade away from children.
