Model: EM100 / EM100P / EM100B / EM100Y
Manufacturer Model: EM-5005
1. Materials of Headband and Cushion
Cups: ABS;
Headband: POM + PVC cover;
Cushion: PU with foam inside
2. Fitting Instruction
Follow these steps for proper fitting:
- Pull the cups outward and place over your ears so that the cushions fully enclose the ears and seal tightly against the head.
- Adjust the height of each cup on both sides while holding the headband down until you have a tight and comfortable fit.
- Ensure the headband sits straight on the head.
- For better noise cancellation, make sure your ears are fully covered by the earmuffs.
3. Cleaning & Maintenance & Storage
- Cushions should be wiped clean after each use.
- Cushions & foam pads should be cleaned with mild soap and water or alcohol swabs and allowed to air dry.
- It is recommended to check cushions and foam pads at frequent intervals for cracking and leakage, as these may deteriorate with use. Replace ear muffs as and when necessary.
- Store in a cool, dry place in the included container. Do not leave in direct sunlight.
4. Wearing/Usage Recommendations
- The ear-muffs are fitted, adjusted, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- The ear-muffs are worn at all times in noisy surroundings.
- The ear-muffs are regularly inspected for serviceability.
- Check and make sure that the earmuff is worn correctly and continuously by the child.
- The time a child stays in a noise area should be minimized. Excessive usage time can have adverse long-term effects (e.g., due to pressure on the head). A usage time of approximately 90 minutes without a break and approximately 3 hours per day in total is recommended.
5. Notes and Warning
- Noise reduction will be adversely affected by anything that impairs the seal of the earmuff cushions against the head, such as thick spectacle frames, hair, etc.
- Cushions may deteriorate with use and should be renewed regularly.
- The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the ear-muffs.
