Product Overview

Front View: Features a lens, microphone, loudspeaker, and a microSD card slot (visible when the lens is facing upward).

Rear View: Features an indicator light, a reset button, and a Type-C power port.

Indicator Light Status:

• Solid blue: Connected successfully / Working normally
• Blinking blue: Network error
• Blinking orange quickly: Waiting for connection
• Blinking orange slowly: Updating

Getting Started

Connecting to Power Supply

Plug the charging cable into the Type-C power port on the back of the camera. The camera will automatically turn on, with its indicator quickly blinking orange. Note: Do not forcibly rotate the camera's spherical body after turning it on. If the lens positioning is inaccurate, please calibrate it in the Xiaomi Home app.

Connecting with the Xiaomi Home App

This product works with the Xiaomi Home app. Control your device using the app.

Scan the QR code (or search for "Xiaomi Home" in your app store) to download and install the app. Open the Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" on the upper right, and follow the on-screen instructions to add your device. Ensure a stable network connection and that the camera is powered on (indicator blinking orange quickly). The indicator will turn solid blue once connected.

Installing a microSD Card

Ensure the camera is disconnected from the power supply. Rotate the lens upward to reveal the microSD card slot. Insert the microSD card with its contact points facing downward. Use a microSD card (8 GB to 256 GB) from a qualified supplier. A U1/Class 10 speed rating is recommended.

Restoring Factory Settings

If you need to change the network or Xiaomi Account, press and hold the reset button for approximately 7 seconds until the indicator blinks orange quickly. This indicates the camera has been restored to factory settings. You will then need to reconnect it via the Xiaomi Home app. Note: Restoring factory settings does not delete microSD card contents.

Installation

The camera can be placed on a desk, table, or other flat surfaces, or mounted on a wall.

Mounting the Camera on a Wall

1. Attach the mounting template sticker to the desired location. Drill two holes (approx. 6 mm diameter, 30 mm depth) according to the template.
2. Insert plastic wall plugs into the drilled holes.
3. Align the base with the holes, insert screws, and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. Ensure the base's arrow faces outward.
4. Align the groove on the camera's bottom with the raised part on the base, and turn the camera clockwise until it locks into place.

Wall-Mounting Precaution: The wall must be able to support at least three times the total weight of the camera.

WARNING: The camera must be securely fixed to a ceiling or wall in accordance with the installation instructions to prevent injury.

Key Features

• Real-time Surveillance: View live footage, adjust image sharpness, control pan/tilt angles, capture/record images, and make remote calls via the Xiaomi Home app.
• Infrared Night Vision: Automatically switches to night vision mode in low light conditions, capturing clear images in the dark with built-in IR lights.
• Playback: Available with a compatible microSD card or cloud storage. Access playback via the Xiaomi Home app, drag the timeline, and adjust playback speed.
• Automatic Surveillance: When enabled, the camera records videos upon detecting human movement and pushes them to the Xiaomi Home app. Users can customize surveillance times (24-hour, daytime, or nighttime) and alert intervals.
• Video Sharing: Share camera access with others through the Xiaomi Home app's device sharing option. Invited users need the app and a Xiaomi Account.
• Physical Lens Blocking: For privacy, the lens can be physically blocked by the camera casing. This feature can be enabled manually or set on a schedule via the app settings.

Note: 5 GHz Band 3 (5650–5725MHz) is unavailable for the camera in Malaysia.

Precautions

• Operating temperature range: -10°C to 40°C. Do not use outside this range.
• Avoid environments with excessive humidity or where water may enter the camera.
• Do not place the lens facing or next to reflective objects (e.g., glass windows, white walls) to prevent image distortion.
• Install within Wi-Fi coverage with a strong signal. Avoid placing near metal objects or microwave ovens that may affect Wi-Fi.
• Use the original power adapter provided with the camera.
• Maintain a separation distance of at least 20 cm between the antenna and the user's body during normal use.
