Important Safety Information

Warning

The product has IPX4 water-resistance but is not fully waterproof. Avoid using it in showers or similar situations.
Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the product.
Do not expose the product to low temperatures (below 0°C) or high temperatures (above 45°C).
Keep the status indicator light away from the eyes of children and animals during use.
Do not use the product during thunderstorms. This may cause product failure and increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not wipe or wash the earphones or case with volatile liquids such as alcohol.

Caution

Read this user manual carefully before use.
Fully charge the product before the first use.
If the product has not been used for more than 2 weeks, please fully charge it again.
Use only officially sold power adapters for charging. Power adapters are not included.
To protect your hearing, avoid prolonged use of the earphones.
Wearing the earphones may reduce your perception of external surroundings. Do not wear earphones in dangerous situations.

Battery Precautions

The product uses a lithium-ion battery. Please dispose of it according to local regulations.

Do not subject the battery to strong impact or excessive force.
Do not leave the battery in places with high temperature or humidity.

If you notice any heat, unusual smell, discoloration, deformation, or other abnormalities during charging, use, or storage, stop using the product immediately and contact the customer center.

How to Wear

Wearing the Earphones:

Gently insert the earphones into your ears and adjust them to your preferred position and angle.

Adjust the microphone to point towards your mouth for clearer voice transmission during calls.

Charging the Earphones:

Before use, remove the insulating film from the charging contacts of both earphones.

Charging the Case and Earphones

After removing the insulating film, fully charge the charging case and earphones.

Connect the included USB-C cable to the charging case and charge the earphones and case simultaneously. The LED lamp on the charging case will blink according to the charging status. It will turn off when fully charged.

Note: If the charging case has no battery, the earphones cannot be charged.

Press the pairing button on the charging case, or place the earphones into the charging case. The LED lamp will blink according to the charging status.

Power On/Off

Power On

The earphones automatically turn on when removed from the charging case.

Power Off

If the charging case has battery power, the earphones will automatically turn off when placed back in the case.
If the charging case has no battery power, the earphones will remain on even when placed back in the case, maintaining their current state.
The earphones will automatically turn off if no device is connected for over 3 minutes.

Connecting to a Device

Pairing Mode

If no pairing history exists:

The earphones will enter pairing mode approximately 5 seconds after being removed from the charging case.

If pairing history exists:

With the earphones in the charging case, open the case lid. Press and hold the pairing button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode.

Connecting via Bluetooth

Open your device's Bluetooth settings. From the list, select "Haylou X1 2023" to connect.

If the connection is unsuccessful, place the earphones back into the case and repeat the above steps.

After a successful initial connection, the earphones will automatically connect to the device when powered on.

Note: Ensure your device's Bluetooth is turned on.

When in pairing mode, the charging case's LED lamp will blink green.

Troubleshooting: Sound Only from One Earphone

If music only plays from one earphone, there might be a pairing error. Try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Place the earphones back into the charging case, remove them again, and reconnect to the device.
Refer to the "Reset to Factory Settings" procedure to reset the settings and reconnect the Bluetooth device.

Reset to Factory Settings

Ensure the earphones are not connected to any device.
Confirm that the charging case has battery power, and store both earphones in the case.
Press and hold the pairing button on the charging case for 6 seconds. This will reset the pairing history to factory default settings. The case's LED lamp will blink green 6 times.
For re-pairing, follow the procedure described in the "Connecting to a Device" section to connect with your device again.
