The GH-618 Model

The GH-618 model is a new Universal Remote Control for Air Conditioning with a patent for code setting. It has 6,000 codes and is compatible with most equipment on the market.

Setup Guide

Battery Installation

Pull the side cover of the remote control down and insert 2 AAA (UM-4, R03) batteries as per polarity indicated on the battery cabin.

Patent Code Set Up

1. Find out the codes from the code table. There are many groups of codes for each brand. Please try the first group first; if it cannot control your equipment, try the second, and so on. For example, for ALPIN, input code 0252 first; if it does not work, try code 0253.
2. Press the [SEL] key; the code on the LCD will flash. Enter the 4-digit code in sequence. For example, to enter "0252": press "0", then "2", then "5", then "2". After the last digit is entered, the code stops flashing, and the code entry is complete. The remote control confirms the code automatically.
3. Turn on the air conditioner and try other function keys. If they do not work well, please try the next group of codes until all functions work. The remote control contains 6,000 codes; it is invalid when the code is larger than 5999.

Auto-Search Code Setting

If you do not know the brand of your air conditioner, or if your brand is not listed in the code table, follow these steps:

1. Aim the remote control at your air conditioner. Press and hold the [SEL] key for 5 seconds, then release. The remote control enters auto-search mode, emitting signals continuously, and the code flashes and increases. When the air conditioner receives the signal and emits one buzzer sound [buzzer sound], press any key to confirm.
2. Test other function keys. If they do not work, repeat the above steps until the correct code is found.

Key Features

"Intelligent Cooling" and "Intelligent Heating"

In summer, pressing the [Cool] key ❄️ will start cooling the room immediately. In winter, pressing the [Heat] key ? will start heating the room immediately. In both modes, the air conditioner will provide a comfortable temperature automatically, and the fan and swing will operate automatically. You can also adjust the temperature using the [Temp+] [Temp-] keys. These two intelligent keys are beneficial for children and the elderly.

Timer On

Note: Timer functions can only be set when the unit is off for "Timer On" and on for "Timer Off".

1. Press the [Timer On] ⏰ key; the time on the LCD will flash.
2. Use the [+/-] keys to adjust the desired time for the air conditioner to turn on automatically.
3. The time on the LCD will stop flashing after 15 seconds, indicating the setting is complete.

Timer Off

1. Press the [Timer Off] ? key; the time on the LCD will flash.
2. Use the [+/-] keys to adjust the desired time for the air conditioner to turn off automatically.
3. The time on the LCD will stop flashing after 15 seconds, indicating the setting is complete.
4. Note: To cancel a timer, press the [Timer On] or [Timer Off] key twice.

Celsius and Fahrenheit Conversion

Press the [C/F] key to convert the display between Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees.

Important Notes

Attention:

1. If the remote is not used for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. When the LCD appears dim, please change the batteries. Do not use new and old batteries together. After replacing batteries, it is not necessary to set the model code again.
2. Ensure there is no barrier between the remote and the air conditioner. Operation is effective only when the unit receives the signal.
3. The manufacturer reserves the right to change product parameters and functions without prior notice.
