Guide to LM5BA Filters

The LM5BA 5L Stationary Oxygen Concentrator has 3 filters. For optimal performance and longevity of the unit and to preserve the Manufacturer's Warranty, Rhythm Healthcare provides the following guidance for filter cleaning and replacement.

AIR INTAKE (SPONGE) FILTER

SKU LM5BA-ITF

The Sponge Filter is located on the back of the unit. It should be removed and cleaned on a weekly basis using warm soapy water. Use caution to COMPLETELY dry the filter before replacing. The Sponge Filter should also be replaced between patients. The filter should be replaced if it is torn or damaged.

INLET FILTER (HEPA FILTER)

SKU LM5BA-ILF

The Inlet Filter (HEPA) is located on the back of the unit. Inspect the HEPA Filter in between patients and replace the filter if needed, or every 3 years.

BACTERIAL FILTER

SKU LM5BA-BF

The Bacterial Filter is located inside the LM5BA Concentrator. This filter should be changed during each compressor servicing.
