Device Overview

The Redmi Note 9 Pro features a front display showing the time "02 48" and date "SAT. 16 AUG.". On the right side of the device, you will find the Volume Buttons and the Power Button. The USB Type-C Port is located at the bottom of the phone.

Getting Started

MIUI

The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes pre-installed with MIUI, a customized Android-based operating system offering frequent updates and user-friendly features based on feedback from over 200 million users worldwide. For more information, please visit en.miui.com.

SIM Card Tray and Dual SIM

The SIM card tray supports two Nano-SIM cards and one Micro SD card.

About Dual SIM:

• Dual 4G SIM is offered by select telecom operators and may not be available in all regions.
• The device supports dual nano-SIM cards. Either card can be set as the primary card when using both SIM card slots.
• VoLTE is supported by telecom operators in certain regions.
• The system may automatically update for optimal network performance. Refer to the system version in use on the device for details.
• Please do not insert non-standard SIM cards into the SIM card slot, as they may damage the slot.

Safety Precautions

• Observe all applicable laws and rules restricting mobile phone use in specific situations and environments.

RF Exposure Information (SAR)

This device complies with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure (Localized 10-gram SAR for head and trunk, limit: 2.0W/kg) specified in Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Guidelines, and RED (Directive 2014/53/EU). During SAR testing, the device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions simulating RF exposure against the head with no separation and near the body with a separation of 5 mm. SAR compliance for body operation is based on a separation distance of 5 mm between the unit and the human body.
