Installation Clearances
Recommended spacing for recessed or closet installation is provided to ensure proper ventilation and operation.

- Maximum height clearance: 14" (356 mm)
- Front clearance: 5" (127 mm)
- Recommended side clearance: 1" (25 mm) (0" tested clearance is possible, but more space is recommended for installation/servicing).
- Closet door ventilation openings: Minimum 48 sq. in. (310 cm²) at the top and 24 sq. in. (155 cm²) at the bottom are required if a closet or louvered door is installed.
- Clearances for walls, doors, and floor moldings should also be considered.
- An additional 1" (25 mm) spacing on all sides is recommended to reduce noise transfer.
Note: Dimensions shown are recommended spacing, except for closet door ventilation openings which are minimum required.
