Product Overview

This manual provides information for the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2S.

Charging Case

Earphones

Usage Instructions

Charging

• Charging the Earphones: Place the earphones into the charging case. They will automatically begin charging.
• Charging the Charging Case: Use a Type-C charger or place the case on a compatible wireless charger. The red indicator light flashes during charging. For wireless charging, the white indicator light stays on for 10 seconds before turning off.

Note: The earphones are deactivated on first use. To activate them, place them in the charging case and press the function button for 5 seconds. It is recommended to fully charge the earphones before first use.

Battery Level Check

• Checking Earphone Battery Level: After connecting the earphones to a phone, you can check their battery level in the phone's status bar. Note: This feature may not be supported by all phones.
• Checking Charging Case Battery Level: Open the charging case lid or press the function button if the lid is closed.
  • If the charging case indicator light stays on for 5 seconds, the battery is sufficient.
  • If the charging case indicator light flashes, the battery level is low and requires immediate charging.
• Checking Battery Level with a Mi Phone: After successfully connecting to a phone, place the earphones in the charging case and close the lid. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mi phone. Keep the phone near the charging case and open the lid. A notification will appear on the phone showing the battery levels of the earphones and the charging case. Note: For the best experience, ensure your Mi phone is updated to the latest stable version. This feature is currently supported by some Mi phones only.

Powering On, Sleep Mode, and Wearing

• Powering On: The earphones will automatically turn on when the charging case is opened.
• Sleep Mode: Place the earphones back into the charging case and close the lid. The earphones will automatically turn off and enter sleep mode.
• Wearing the Earphones: Remove the earphones from the charging case and insert them into your ears according to the Left (L) and Right (R) markings. Note: Placing earphones back into their charging slots helps prolong their lifespan and prevents loss.

Connectivity

Connecting Earphones to a New Device

1. Place the earphones in the charging case, then press and hold the function button for 2 seconds. The charging case indicator light will flash, indicating that the earphones are waiting to be connected.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device, find "Mi TW Earphones 2S", and connect. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

Connecting to a Mi Phone (Fast Pairing)

Place the earphones in the charging case and close the lid. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mi phone. Keep your phone close to the charging case, then open the case lid. Follow the on-screen instructions on your phone to connect the earphones. Note: The fast pairing feature is currently supported by some Mi phones only. Please update your Mi phone to the latest stable version.

Connection Lost

If the device's Bluetooth is turned off or the earphones are out of range, the earphones will automatically enter standby connection mode. If the earphones are not connected to a device for 5 minutes, they will enter sleep mode. Wearing them again will wake them up and re-enter standby connection mode.

Automatic Connection

When the earphones are in the charging case, opening the lid will automatically connect them to the last used Bluetooth device. If no connection history is detected or the earphones cannot connect successfully to any Bluetooth device, they will automatically enter standby connection mode. Note: If the earphones cannot connect to a device automatically, you will need to manually connect them to your desired device via the device's Bluetooth settings.

Due to the nature of Bluetooth signals, occasional connection drops or audio interruptions may occur in environments with high 2.4 GHz electromagnetic signal interference.

Clearing Connection History

1. Place the earphones in the charging case.
2. Press and hold the function button on the charging case for more than 10 seconds. Release the button when the indicator light flashes red and white alternately.
3. The connection history has been cleared. The charging case indicator light flashes white. The earphones are now waiting for pairing.

Function Overview

Incoming Calls

Double-tap either earphone to answer or end calls.

Music and Voice Assistant

• With both earphones worn: Double-tap the right (R) earphone to play/pause music. Double-tap the left (L) earphone to access the voice assistant. Removing an earphone pauses music.
• With one earphone worn: Double-tap the earphone to play/pause music.

Notes:
1. The voice assistant function is only available if your device supports it and it is enabled on the device.
2. When using only one earphone, place the right earphone back into the charging case and close the lid.

Cleaning, Maintenance, and Usage Errors

The device may heat up during prolonged operation. This is normal most of the time. To prevent overheating, the device may automatically slow down, close applications, stop charging, and shut down if necessary.
