Care and Safety Information
General Care
- Assemble on a clean, soft surface (cardboard, fabric) to prevent damage.
- Avoid placing hot objects or candles directly on the furniture.
- Wipe up spills immediately.
- Regularly check that screws and fittings are tight.
- The natural aroma of wood is a sign of quality. Natural resin may cause bright spots on knots, which can be polished with a dry, lint-free cloth.
- Initial faint odors from wood, paint, leather, or upholstery materials are normal and will dissipate over time. Frequent ventilation or wiping with a damp cloth (water with a little vinegar) can help speed this up.
Wood Furniture Care
- For natural wood furniture, use a dry, soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaning agents.
- For oiled/waxed finishes, occasional re-oiling with suitable furniture oil is recommended. Wipe off excess oil with a lint-free cloth and allow it to dry.
- For untreated/painted wood, use a moderately damp cloth. Avoid corrosive cleaners, solvents, or polishes.
Panel Material Furniture Care
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth or chamois. Wipe surfaces with a slightly damp cloth.
General Cleaning Precautions
- Do not use microfiber cloths, dirt erasers, abrasive cleaners, solvents, scouring powder, steel wool, scouring pads, vacuum cleaner nozzles/brushes directly on surfaces, or steam cleaners, as these can cause scratches, damage, or separation of materials.
Safety Warnings
- Risk of injury if used improperly. Assembly should be performed by trained personnel.
- Furniture MUST be secured to the wall to prevent tipping. Check wall type and load-bearing capacity.
- Handle glass elements with extra care to avoid injury from breakage.
- Products with built-in mechanisms or flexible designs require extra caution to prevent pinching of hands or fingers.
- Do not expose products to high temperatures, direct heat sources, or open flames to prevent damage, ignition, or fire.
- Keep small parts out of reach of children to prevent ingestion or choking.
- Be extra cautious with products that have sharp edges, especially around children.
