Before Mounting
1. Download eufy Security App
Download and install the eufy Security app. Sign in or create an account.
Available on the App Store and Google Play.

Setup and Syncing
2. Add Camera
Follow the in-app instructions to add the camera and sync it with your HomeBase. Ensure the camera is within 3.3 ft (1 m) of the HomeBase for syncing.

3. Fully Charge the Camera
Fully charge the camera before first use. This may take up to 8 hours. Connect the camera via USB charging cable to a 5V USB charger (not provided). You can check the battery level in the app.

4. Check Wi-Fi Signal
Take the camera and your phone to the desired mounting location to test the Wi-Fi signal strength.

Mounting Your eufyCam
1. Choose a Location
Consider the camera's field of view and motion detection zone. Recommended mounting height is 7-10 ft (2-3 m). The motion detection range can be up to 40 ft (12 m).
Tools may be needed: a screwdriver, a 16/64" (6mm) drill, and a ladder.

2. Position & Drill Holes (for Concrete or Brick Wall)
Skip this step if installing on a wooden wall. Mark the mounting position, drill holes, and insert wall anchors.

3. Install the Mounting Base
Rotate the knob on the mounting bracket to loosen and disassemble it. Firmly install the mounting base to the wall using the two long screws provided.

4. Mount the Camera
Attach the mounting bracket to the base by turning the large knob clockwise. Hold and screw the camera onto the bracket, then turn the small knob to secure.
⚠️ Do not remove the protective film during installation.

5. Adjust the Camera Field of View
Rotate the camera to achieve an optimal viewing angle in the eufy Security app.

6. Tighten the Camera and Complete
Turn the large knob to tighten and secure the camera.
⚠️ Remove the protective film before use.

Important Safety Instructions
- Suitable temperature for T8162 and accessories: -20°C to 50°C (USB charging: 0°C to 45°C).
- Do not use the device in environments exceeding recommended low or high temperatures, unless specified otherwise in the user guide.

- When charging, place the device in an environment with normal room temperature and good ventilation.
Warning
