The ThinkPad X220 tablet combines the sophisticated performance and durability of a Lenovo ThinkPad notebook with the latest innovations in multitouch computing. This performance-oriented ultraportable tablet is thin and lightweight, offering pen, finger, and keyboard input options. It features a bright 300 nit, IPS display for vivid colors and a nearly 180-degree viewing angle. This slim, ultraportable tablet is equipped with 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors for up to 20% faster CPU performance and Intel® HD graphics for a 2x graphics boost. Lenovo has further optimized this system for faster performance than a standard Windows® notebook through Lenovo's Windows® 7 Enhanced Experience program.

An optional direct-bonded outdoor panel with scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® glass is available for users needing pen-based computing outdoors. The X220 tablet replaces the conventional touchpad with a more advanced, innovative buttonless touchpad that is 45% larger. Furthermore, the X220 tablet is designed to pass 8 mil-spec tests for durability and reliability, providing users with peace of mind when working outdoors and enabling productivity in any environment.
