Chroma Key Settings
The Chroma Key settings allow you to remove a specific color background from your video feed. The tool provides controls for Chroma Key Top/Foreground, Chroma Key Bottom/Background, and reference values.
Chroma Key Top/Foreground: Adjust this value manually by dragging the slider, using the mouse wheel, arrow keys, or typing directly into the box.
Chroma Key Bottom/Background: Similar to the Top/Foreground setting, this can be adjusted manually.
Chroma Key - Reference value: This is a YCbCr value used as a reference. The sampling tool allows you to click on any part of the screen to capture its color information.
RGB Reference: Converts the sampled YCbCr values to RGB.
Read Button: Reads the current Chroma Key Top and Bottom values from the JVA06 device.
Set Button: Writes the configured Chroma Key Top and Bottom values from the settings tool to the JVA06 device.
Firmware Version: Displays the firmware version of the connected JVA06 device.
Result: Provides operation message notifications.
Notes on Chroma Key Top and Bottom settings:
- The Top value must be greater than the reference value.
- The Bottom value must be smaller than the reference value.
- Generally, the Y range needs to be larger for better results.
Important Notes:
- The Top and Bottom values are stored in the JVA06 device.
- Chroma Key On/Off settings are not stored; the function defaults to Off upon device startup and requires manual activation.
- The video source with the background to be removed must be connected to [HDMI In B].
- If [HDMI In B] is displayed, the [HDMI In A] screen will retain the size of the previous mode.
Image Mode Description
The JVA06 supports different image modes:
- Original Mode: Displays the source from [HDMI In A].
- [AB] Mode (Picture-in-Picture): Displays both [HDMI In A] and [HDMI In B] simultaneously.
Switch Mode Description:
- Normal Mode: Pressing the [A] key switches to [HDMI In A] and stays there. Pressing the [B] key switches to [HDMI In B] and stays there.
- Loopback Mode: Pressing the [A] key switches to [HDMI In A], and pressing it again switches to [HDMI In B]. Pressing the [B] key switches to [HDMI In B], and pressing it again switches to [HDMI In A].
Background Color Settings
Customize the background color of the output and how it switches:
- Follow Chroma Key On/Off: When Chroma Key is active, the background adopts the user-specified color. When Chroma Key is off, the background turns black.
- Always On: The background consistently remains the user-specified color, regardless of the Chroma Key status.
