Art No: 335454600001
ECE Approval: E4 55R-01 0681
General Safety and Installation Notes
National guidelines concerning installation approval must be observed. Any alteration or conversion of the tow bar is prohibited and will result in the cancellation of the type approval. Remove any insulating compound or underbody coating from the vehicle in the area of the tow bar's contact surfaces. The tow bar is intended for towing trailers and for carrying loads; any other use is prohibited. Vehicles equipped with parking assistance systems may experience malfunctions after tow bar installation if components (e.g., ball head) are within the sensor range. In such cases, adjust the sensing range or disable the parking assistance system. This is less likely with removable or pivoting ball tow bars when the ball is not in the operating position. The tow bar is a safety-critical component and must only be fitted by qualified companies. Improper assembly can lead to serious accidents. The Swedish text of this manual is binding. Subject to change.
