MartinLogan's new line of ground-breaking subwoofers, the Dynamo series, offers advanced performance and affordability. Featuring powerful amplifiers, audiophile-grade woofers, extensive input options, wireless connectivity, Bluetooth app control, and Anthem Room Correction (ARC™), these subwoofers are designed for compelling music and home theater experiences. They offer user-configurable front- or down-firing designs.
Advanced-technology inverted surround woofers, paired with powerful amplifiers, deliver high excursion and sound output while preserving subtle bass details. Flexible input options include RCA, XLR, speaker level, and wireless connectivity. The companion iOS and Android subwoofer control apps allow precise configuration, while Anthem Room Correction (ARC™) ensures accurate bass performance tailored to any listening room.

Designed for exceptional performance in music and home theater applications, MartinLogan's Dynamo subwoofer systems offer a comprehensive array of connections.
Input Options
- Left and Right 2-Channel Inputs: All Dynamo subwoofers feature left and right inputs via RCA line level and speaker level connections.
- LFE Home Theater Input: The Dynamo 400's right input serves as an LFE input. The Dynamo 600X and 800X add a discrete LFE RCA line level input. The Dynamo 1100X and 1600X include both XLR and RCA inputs for LFE connection.
- 12V Trigger Input: Dynamo 800X, 1100X, and 1600X feature 12V Trigger Inputs, allowing external devices to control subwoofer power.
Simultaneous Connections
The Dynamo 800X, 1100X, and 1600X support simultaneous connection of both 2-channel stereo music and multi-channel home theater sources. This allows for individual crossover and level settings for each source, ensuring optimal performance. LFE inputs bypass the low-pass filter for processor control, while left and right inputs offer user-adjustable low-pass filters for stereo music.
Optional SWT-X Wireless Input
For convenience, the Dynamo 600X, 800X, 1100X, and 1600X include a connection port for the optional MartinLogan SWT-X Wireless Subwoofer System (sold separately). This system uses 2.4GHz dynamic frequency selection and forward error correction for a range up to 50 feet, eliminating the need for long cable runs.

Anthem Room Correction (ARC™)
Available for PC, iOS, and Android. MartinLogan engineers understand that the listening room significantly impacts subwoofer performance. ARC™ measures low-frequency sound output and compares it to optimal response curves, using advanced algorithms to correct for spatial anomalies and deliver realistically blended, natural-sounding bass. The Dynamo 600X, 800X, 1100X, and 1600X utilize Bluetooth or USB connections for ARC™ setup.

MartinLogan Sub Control App
Available for iOS and Android. This app simplifies setup and configuration via Bluetooth for the Dynamo 600X, 800X, 1100X, and 1600X. It provides control over volume, low-pass filter, phase, 20–30Hz level, preset listening modes, and ARC™. A unique tone sweep feature helps identify and locate room rattles or resonances.
Unique Front-Firing or Down-Firing Design
The Dynamo 800X, 1100X, and 1600X subwoofers can be easily converted from a standard down-firing orientation to a front-firing orientation without tools. A grille is provided for front-firing applications, allowing placement within cabinets or other discreet locations.

Powerful, High-Excursion, Low-Turbulence, Inverted Surround Woofers
These subwoofers feature advanced-design woofers with inverted surrounds, powerful magnet structures, and optimized motor and suspension designs. The inverted surround maximizes excursion clearance and reduces airflow turbulence, providing articulate and detailed low-frequency response. These woofers deliver massive excursions while preserving the subtlest bass details, with exceptional damping properties for seamless blending with loudspeakers.
Advanced Ultra-Efficient Switch Mode Power Supplies and Class-D Amplifiers
Dynamo subwoofers utilize ultra-efficient Class-D amplifiers with low distortion and ample headroom. High-power switching power supplies deliver clean, efficient power and tremendous current. These systems feature high-quality MOSFET transistors, transformers, and noise-suppression networks, ensuring virtually no energy is lost.
Inverse Mathematical Equalization (IME) Filter
The IME filter is derived from the inverse of the unfiltered driver response, providing extremely accurate low-frequency response, surpassing typical second-order high-Q filters.
Sealed Cabinet with Extensive Internal Bracing
The Dynamo 800X, 1100X, and 1600X feature compact, sealed subwoofer systems designed to minimize transient-blurring group delay and maintain smooth response. Constructed from composite material with critically placed internal cross-bracing, these cabinets provide a stable foundation and reduce cabinet-induced resonances.
Low-Turbulence Ports
The Dynamo 400 and 600X feature tuned, long low-turbulence ports designed to provide superb low-end extension while minimizing port-induced distortion.
Built-in ETC (Energy Transfer Coupler) Spikes
The Dynamo 800X, 1100X, and 1600X include custom ETC spikes that enhance stability on carpets and create tighter coupling with the floor for improved sound quality. These spikes are discreetly integrated beneath the rubber feet.
