Setup Guide

1. Choose a location for your Echo Studio

For optimal performance, place the Echo Studio at your preferred listening height, at least 6 inches from walls, with clearance above and on both sides. The device automatically tunes its speakers based on placement.

2. Download the Amazon Alexa app

Install the latest version of the Alexa app on your phone or tablet from your device's app store.

3. Plug in your Echo Studio

Connect the included power cord to the Echo Studio's power port and plug it into an outlet. A blue light ring will appear, and Alexa will greet you, guiding you to complete setup in the Alexa app.

Connecting Audio Components

To connect external audio sources like CD players or MP3 players, use the 3.5 mm/mini-optical line-in port located on the back of the Echo Studio.

4. Set up your Echo Studio in the Alexa app

Open the Alexa app. Log in with your Amazon account credentials or create a new one. If the device setup prompt doesn't appear automatically, tap the 'More' icon and select 'Add device' to set it up manually.

The Alexa app is essential for managing your Echo Studio, including setting up calling and messaging, controlling music, managing lists, adjusting settings, and accessing news.

Optional: Set up compatible Zigbee smart home devices

The built-in smart home hub allows for easy connection and control of compatible Zigbee devices. To begin, open the Alexa app and add your device, or use the voice command, "Alexa, discover devices."

Manage and rename your smart home devices within the Alexa app by tapping the 'Devices' icon.
