Product Description
The SITRANS FM MAG 5100 W is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed for volume flow measurement of conductive liquids. It is suitable for applications in water abstraction, water and wastewater treatment, and water distribution networks. The sensor features flanged connections with diameters ranging from DN 15 to DN 1200 (1/2" to 48").
This model has DN 100, 4-inch EN 1092-1 PN 16 flanges with a standard face-to-face length (1.25 x DN) and is PED compliant. The sensor is constructed with carbon steel ASTM A 105 and features a corrosion-resistant coating according to EN ISO 12944 grade C4. The liner material is NBR, and the electrodes are made of Hastelloy C-276, including grounding electrodes. It is designed for remote transmitter connection, with the transmitter sold separately. The sensor does not support bus communication and includes metric cable glands and a Polyamid terminal box, or can be mounted with a MAG 6000i integral mount.
