DUAL XDCPA10BT Media Receiver Quick Start Guide
This guide provides essential information for setting up and operating your DUAL XDCPA10BT media receiver.

Installation
Before You Start:
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Consult a qualified technician for specific instructions.
- Avoid installing the unit in locations subject to high temperatures (direct sunlight), dust, dirt, or excessive vibration.
Note: Use 2 or 3 screws to affix the monitor to the bracket.
Wiring Diagram - Inputs/Outputs
The wiring diagram illustrates the connections for the DUAL XDCPA10BT. Key connections include:
- Power: Battery (+), Ignition/ACC (+), Ground (-).
- Speakers: Front Left (+/-), Front Right (+/-), Rear Left (+/-), Rear Right (+/-).
- Outputs: Subwoofer Preamp Out (Green RCA), Front Left Preamp Out, Front Right Preamp Out, Rear Left Preamp Out, Rear Right Preamp Out.
- Inputs: Video In, Camera In, AV In L/R, SWC Input.
- Other: Radio Antenna, To external mic, 20PIN connector.
- Fuse: A 15A ATC style fuse is located on the power connector. Replace only with the same type and amperage.
Wiring Notes:
- Subwoofer output: The green RCA output is active in all audio modes.
- Rear camera input: Supports a rear view camera (not included).

Tuner Operation
Controls include:

USB Operation
From the main menu, touch the USB icon.

Bluetooth Operation
Before using Bluetooth: A device must be paired (authenticated) before use for hands-free calls or audio streaming. The device name is "XDCPA10BT".
Pairing a New Device: The unit broadcasts a pairing signal when no devices are connected. Initiate pairing from your Bluetooth device.
Connect: The head unit can automatically connect to the last connected device if set to "Auto connect On".
Bluetooth Phone: From the main menu, touch the Bluetooth icon. A Bluetooth icon appears when a device is connected.
- [Dialpad Icon]: Display keypad to dial a number.
- [Call Icon]: Connect or end a call.
- [Transfer Icon]: Transfer audio between the head unit and mobile phone.
Streaming Audio:
- [Play/Pause Button]: Play or pause music.
- [Previous Track Icon]: Skip to the previous track.
- [Next Track Icon]: Advance to the next track.
Audio Operation
Access audio settings by pressing the Settings icon on the main menu.
Adjustments include:
- Fader and Balance controls.
- Equalizer (8-Band Tone Control and 8 Presets EQ Settings).
Apple CarPlay Operation
Select "Apple CarPlay" from the Main Menu.
Connect your iPhone via USB. The DUAL XDCPA10BT will automatically switch to Apple CarPlay mode, mirroring your iPhone's apps on the screen.

Android Auto™ Operation
Select "Android Auto" from the Main Menu.
Connect your Android phone via USB. The DUAL XDCPA10BT will automatically switch to Android Auto mode, mirroring basic Android Auto interface elements on the screen.

General Operation
From the Main Menu screen, select "Setup" to access the Settings menu.
Adjust options within categories represented by icons at the bottom of the screen, such as General, Audio, Display, and Others.
Limited One Year Warranty
DUAL Electronics Corp. Inc. warrants this product to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the purchase date.
What is covered: All defects in material and workmanship.
What is not covered: Software, installation/removal costs, damage from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, modification, improper installation, incorrect line voltage, unauthorized repair, or damage during return shipment.
Warranty Coverage: Limited 1-year warranty (proof of purchase required). Extend to 2 years by registering online at www.dualav.com.
What to do for service:
- Check the troubleshooting guide in the owner's manual first.
- Pack the product carefully (preferably in original packaging) and ship via prepaid transportation with a copy of the original receipt to an authorized service center.
- Include a written description of the problem, your name, return UPS shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), and a daytime phone number.
