Installation Instructions

The following steps outline the installation process for the Floodlight High Mast series.

  1. Safety First: Ensure the power is switched OFF before commencing any installation work. A warning symbol [!] indicates potential hazards.
  2. Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the pole using the provided hardware. The diagram shows the bracket being secured with bolts and washers.
  3. Luminaire Attachment: Mount the luminaire onto the bracket. The diagram shows the luminaire being attached with bolts and washers, with a torque specification of 1.8Nm indicated for some connections.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power supply. The diagrams show connections for ON/OFF and DALI control systems. Ensure correct wiring for Live (L), Neutral (N), and Ground (PE) terminals. Wire cross-sections are specified (e.g., 3x1.0-1.5mm² for ON/OFF, 5x1.0-1.5mm² for DALI). Torque specifications are provided for cable glands (3Nm and 5Nm).
  5. Cable Management: Secure cables using the provided cable glands. Ensure proper strain relief. The diagrams show cable entry points for M12 and M16 glands.
  6. Wiring Details: The diagrams illustrate the internal wiring for both ON/OFF and DALI versions, showing connections for input and output. Color coding for wires is provided (Brown, Blue, Black, Gray).
  7. Maximum Cable Length: The maximum recommended cable length for the connection between the luminaire and the power supply is <30m.
  8. Beam Angle Adjustment: The luminaire allows for angle adjustment. Diagrams show adjustment ranges and locking mechanisms. Torque for locking bolts is 20Nm.
  9. Accessories Installation: Instructions for installing accessories like the Cut Off Hood and Wire Guard are provided, including the required hardware (e.g., 4xM5 for the hood, 4xM4 for the guard).
