Getting Started and Basic Operations
This manual provides essential information for using your OSCAL tablet. It covers initial setup, language configuration, and important safety and maintenance guidelines.

How to Insert the TF Card
Locate the TF card slot. Insert the TF card into the slot, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
How to Boot the Device
The device has a non-removable battery. To boot the device, press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds.
Language Switching Settings
To change the device language:
- Navigate to the Main menu, then Settings.
- Go to System Settings, and select Language and input method.
- Under Language and input method, select Languages.
- Tap '+ Add a language' and choose your desired language.
- The system will automatically return to the language interface.
- Select the icon next to the language bar and drag it to the top position to set it as the primary language.
SAR Information
The maximum Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for this product is ≤2.0W/kg, in compliance with the national standard GB 21288-2007.
Safety Precautions
To ensure safe usage of the product, please strictly adhere to the following rules:
- Keep the tablet at least 15 cm away from medical implants or pacemakers. Avoid placing the device in your coat pocket if you have such devices.
- Do not expose the device or battery to high temperatures or heat-generating equipment (e.g., sunlight, heaters, microwaves, ovens, water heaters). Overheating can cause explosions.
- Disconnect the charger from the device and unplug it from the power outlet when charging is complete or not in use.
- If the device has a non-removable battery, do not attempt to replace it yourself to avoid damage.
- Using unapproved or incompatible power sources, chargers, or batteries may cause fire, explosion, or other hazards.
- Do not disassemble, tamper with, insert foreign objects into, or immerse the battery in water or other liquids to prevent leakage, overheating, fire, or explosion.
- Avoid dropping, crushing, scratching, or puncturing the battery to prevent internal short circuits and overheating.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures safer and more effective use of your tablet and extends its service life.
- Follow the instructions in this manual for operating the tablet and using accessories. Do not attempt alternative methods.
- Avoid dropping, hitting, or shaking the tablet. Rough handling can cause screen breakage and damage internal components.
- Do not use chemical solvents or detergents to clean the tablet. Wipe the casing with a soft cotton cloth dampened with water or mild soap.
- Clean the camera lens and screen with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
- Troubleshooting: If the tablet freezes or experiences an abnormal situation:
- For devices with non-removable batteries: Press and hold the power button for over 12 seconds to force a restart. Unlock the device upon restart. This can resolve general bugs.
- For devices with removable batteries: Remove the battery, reinsert it, and restart the device to fix the issue.
- When the charger is not in use, unplug it from the power outlet. Avoid leaving a fully charged battery connected to the charger for extended periods, as overcharging can shorten battery life.
