This document provides important safety information and instructions for the Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 Booster Seat.

Important Safety Information

WARNING:

• When Used as a Booster Seat: Children have suffered head injuries, including skull fractures, after falling with or from booster seats. Always use the restraint system and ensure it is correctly fitted. The tray is not designed to hold the child in the product. This product is intended for children who can sit unaided (minimum six months) up to 36 months or 33 lbs (15 kg). Always use the chair attachment system and secure the product to the chair using the bottom and back straps. Never use on a seat without a back, or on pedestal, swivel, rocking chairs, stools, benches, or other non-adult chairs. Always check security and stability. Ensure the adult chair is positioned so the child cannot push off tables or structures. Never allow the child to push away from the table. Never lift or carry the child in the product. Stay near and watch your child; never leave unattended. Do not use on an adult chair unless the seat bottom is at least 17" (43 cm) wide and 15.5" (39 cm) deep, and the seat back is at least 10" (25 cm) tall.
• When Used as a Floor Seat: Fall Hazard: Infants have suffered skull fractures falling from floor seats. Use ONLY on the floor. NEVER use on an elevated surface. ALWAYS use the restraint system. Never lift or carry the child in the product. Use ONLY with a child that can hold head up unassisted. Stop using when the child can climb out or walk. ALWAYS keep child in view. Drowning Hazard: Infants have drowned when floor seats are placed in bathtubs or pools. NEVER use in or near water.
• When Used in Any Mode: ALWAYS follow manufacturer's instructions. Keep child away from hot liquids, ranges, radiators, heaters, fireplaces, and hot surfaces to avoid burns. Keep away from window cords to avoid strangulation. Position away from solid structures, furniture, walls, and electrical cords to prevent fall injuries. Do not use in motor vehicles. Do not use if damaged, broken, torn, or missing parts. Ensure all components are correctly fitted and adjusted.

Important Assembly & Use Notes

• Adult assembly required.
• Read all instructions before assembly and use.
• Take care during unpacking and assembly.
• Examine product frequently for damaged, missing, or loose parts.
• DO NOT use if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken.
• Contact Kids2 for replacement parts and instructions. Never substitute parts.

Care and Cleaning

• Plastic Parts: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
• Foam Insert: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
• Tray: Dishwasher Safe. Wipe clean with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.
• Harness/Straps: Machine wash with cold water, gentle cycle. No bleach. Air dry.

Using the Tray

The tray can be attached and detached from the seat. Ensure it clicks securely into place when attaching.

Attaching the Booster Seat to a Chair

1. Place the booster seat on the adult chair.
2. Secure the seat using the back straps (9) and the male (7) and female (8) hook straps. Feed the straps around the chair back and under the seat, then buckle them together. Adjust for a snug fit.
3. Ensure the seat is stable on the chair before placing the child in it. Refer to the diagram for correct strap placement and chair dimensions.

Using the Seat Restraint

Buckle the harness straps together to secure the child. Adjust the straps for a snug fit.

Adjusting for Toddler Use

The foam insert (2, 4) can be removed for older children or a larger fit. Ensure the foam insert is only used when attached to the plastic base.

Storage Compartment for Attachment Straps

The attachment straps can be stored within the base of the seat when not in use.
