  7. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatuses (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  8. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding plug: A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. The wide blade is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
  9. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  10. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  11. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
  12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

Tips to Prolong the Life of Rechargeable Batteries

  1. Store the portable system with batteries in a fully charged condition. It takes 8-10 hours to fully charge.
  2. The battery prefers a partial rather than a full discharge. A partial discharge reduces stress and prolongs battery life.
  3. Avoid frequent full discharges because this puts additional strain on the battery.
  4. Avoid keeping the battery at full charge and high temperature.
  5. Fully charge the system at least once every 3 to 6 months. The battery may not charge if not charged for prolonged periods of time.
  6. Do not freeze the battery. Store in a dry, cool place away from heat. Elevated temperatures reduce battery lifespan.
  7. Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced. Battery life and the number of charge cycles vary by use and settings.
