Product Overview

The Cartell CW-SOU Wireless Sounder is designed to plug into a standard North American outlet. It serves as a component within a larger system, allowing for wireless communication with sensors. Each sounder can be paired with an unlimited number of sensors, up to a maximum of 30, with the capability to assign a unique sound to each sensor from a selection of 30 available sounds.

• Sensor Pairing: Detailed instructions are provided for pairing sounders with sensors manufactured before and after September 1, 2023. The sounder enters automatic pairing mode upon initial plug-in.
• Multiple Sensor Pairing: Users can pair a single sounder with multiple sensors, assigning specific sounds to each.
• Mode Selection: The device supports two operational modes:
  • Sounder Mode: The sounder plays an alert when a sensor event is detected. The LED blinks every five seconds.
  • Repeater Mode: The sounder relays sensor events to another sounder or the CW-SYS Integrator without making an audible alert. The LED blinks every one second.
• System Diagnostics: Includes options for viewing system reports (firmware version, sensor status, signal strength) and erasing paired sensors.
