Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- The use of any accessory attachments not recommended by Coopers of Stortford may cause injuries and invalidate any warranty you may have.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not place on or near heat sources.
- Use with the bracket provided and mount on the windscreen.
- Do not cover the item in any way when in use as this may cause overheating.
- Do not use this appliance for any other use than the intended use it is designed for.
- Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged. To be repaired by a qualified electrician or to be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent or similarly qualified person, in order to avoid a hazard.

The dash cam has the following components:

Description of Function Keys
- OK button: In Video Mode, press to start/stop recording. In Photo Mode, press to take a photo. In Menu interface, press to confirm selection.
- Mode button: Press to change camera mode between Record video, Take photo, and Play back.
- SOS button: When recording, press to lock the current video file, preventing it from being deleted by the Loop recording function.
- Power button: Press and hold for 2-3 seconds to turn the camera on/off. Press briefly to turn on/off night vision lights.
- Reset button: Press to reset the device.
Special Function Description
3.1 G-sensor
Measures acceleration and tilt. In video recording mode, if sudden changes in tilt or acceleration occur, the current video file will be automatically locked and will not be deleted by the Loop recording function.
3.2 SOS
In video recording mode, pressing the SOS button locks the current file, preventing it from being deleted by the Loop recording function.
3.3 Automatically turn on/off
When the car charger is connected, the camera automatically switches on when the car engine starts. It automatically switches off and saves the video file after the car engine is shut off.
3.4 Motion Detection
After the car charger is connected, the camera will automatically switch on when the car engine starts. Ensure Motion Detection is turned "ON" via the video mode menu. After 5-12 seconds of recording, Stand-by mode is activated, indicated by a flashing yellow dot in the top left corner. If any movement is detected in front of the camera, video recording will resume automatically.
Operations
4.1 Power on/off
Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds to turn the camera on (blue indicator lights up). Press and hold again for 2-3 seconds to turn the camera off (blue indicator switches off).
Note: If turning on the camera with a low battery, a "LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE" notification will appear, and the camera will turn off automatically.
4.2 Record Video (REC mode)
Press the Mode button to enter Video mode. A recorder icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen. Press the OK button to start video recording; a red dot will flash on the screen simultaneously.
4.3 Take Photo (Photo mode)
Press the Mode button to enter Photo mode. A camera icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen. Press the OK button to take one picture; the screen will flash once. In Photo mode, you can select capture time options: Single, 2s, 5s, or 10s timer.
4.4 Video / Photo Playback
Press the Mode button to switch to Playback mode. A playback icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen. Use the Up/Down buttons to select the file you wish to view, and press OK to play back the selected video or photo.
4.5 Menu Setting
Press the Menu button to access the menu interface. Each mode has a different menu. For example, to change settings for Video mode, switch to Video mode first, then press the Menu button. Use the Up/Down buttons to select an option and press OK to confirm. Press the Menu button again to exit the setting.
4.6 Time Setting
Press the Menu button to enter Set mode, then press the Menu button again to access the setup menu. Use the Up button to select date and time options. Press the OK button to switch between Year, Month, Day, and Hour. Use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the required value, and press OK to confirm the modification.
4.7 USB Mode
Connect the camera to a computer using a USB cable. Press the Power button. A USB menu will appear; use the Up/Down buttons to select the desired mode. In "USB Disk" mode, you can access video files and photos.
Battery Instruction
5.1 Battery Indication
The battery status is indicated by icons:
- Full Battery
- Slightly low battery
- Low battery
- Battery empty

5.2 Battery Recharge
There are three methods to charge the battery. The red indicator light is on when charging. Charging time is approximately 180 minutes. The red indicator light switches off automatically when the battery is fully charged.
- Method 1: Using a power adapter for charging (DC Adapter is not included in the standard package).
- Method 2: USB charging.
- Method 3: Using the car charger for charging.
Note: Press the Reset button on the camera if the system is not responding.
Installing in Vehicles
6.1 Mount to Windshield
- Attach the bracket to the device by sliding it into the bracket holder until you hear a click.
- Before installing the bracket, clean the windscreen and the suction cup of the bracket with alcohol. Wait until dry, then press the suction cup firmly onto the windscreen.
- Hold the base firmly on the windscreen and press down the clamp to mount the car holder to the windscreen. Ensure the base is securely locked in place.

6.2 Adjust the Device Position
- Loosen the knob to swivel the device vertically or horizontally.
- Tighten the knob to ensure the car dash cam is securely locked in place.

Troubleshooting
For problems in normal operating situations, please try the methods below:
8.1 Cannot take photo and record
Check if the TF card has enough space or is locked.
8.2 Automatically stops when recording
Use a compatible high-speed TF card with SDHC.
8.3 Unclear video
Check if there is any dust or fingerprints, and use lens wipes to clean the camera lens.
8.4 Black image when recording sky or water scene
Images with big contrasts will influence the automatic exposure function of the camera. You can adjust EV in setting mode to correct.
8.5 Color is not perfect on cloudy day or with outdoor lighting
Set the White balance function to automatic.
8.6 System crash
Restart by pressing the Reset button after a system crash.

Care and Cleaning Instructions

- Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
Batteries
- Keep batteries away from children and pets.
- Do not mix used and new batteries.
- Remove the batteries if left for long periods.

Disposal
