If an item is not listed, it should be provided by the customer. Other brands' 3D glasses may not be supported.
2. Installing the Stand
Instructions:
- Carefully place the TV facedown on a soft, cushioned surface to prevent damage to the screen.
- Identify the stand components: Stand Column, Stand Cover, and Base.
- Secure the Stand Column to the Base plate using the provided screws:
- For HL50K610PZLN3D: 4 x M4×L12 screws.
- For HL55K610PZLN3D: 4 x M5×L12 screws.
- Attach the Stand Cover to the Stand Column vertically using 2 x ST4×L14 screws.
- Secure the Stand Cover to the Stand Column horizontally using 2 x ST4×L14 screws.
- Secure the assembled stand to the TV's bottom panel using the appropriate screws:
- For HL50K610PZLN3D: 6 x M4×L12 screws.
- For HL55K610PZLN3D: 10 x M5×L12 screws.
3. Viewing the Remote Control
The remote control allows you to operate the TV. Key buttons include:
- : Turns the TV on or puts it into standby mode.
- : Selects input sources.
- : Selects picture modes.
- : Selects sound modes.
- : Sets the TV sleep timer.
- : Activates 3D viewing mode.
- Number Buttons (0-9): Select channels or input numbers.
- : Returns to the previous channel or menu.
- : Returns to the previous input source.
- : Displays the Electronic Programming Guide in DTV mode.
- : Displays the main menu.
- : Displays TV program and input source information.
- Navigation Buttons ( / / / ): Navigate menus.
- : Confirms selection or displays a list of saved channels.
- : Fast access to favorite channels.
- : Switches between antenna inputs.
- : Adjusts volume.
- : Selects channels.
- : Mutes and restores sound.
- : Opens the HiSmart Hub.
- : Enters the Opera browser or HiMedia (digital multimedia player) menu.
- Media Player Controls: Rewind, Play/Pause, Fast Forward, Previous, Stop, Next.
- : Time shift of images on USB devices.
- : Starts video recorder in DTV mode.
- : Enters Teletext mode.
- : Mixes Teletext with TV pictures.
- : Adjusts aspect ratio or Teletext size.
- : Turns subtitles on or off.
Changing Batteries:
- Slide open the battery cover on the back of the remote.
- Install two AAA (1.5V) batteries, matching '+' and '-' signs.
- Close the battery cover.
Remote Control Range:
- Maximum distance: 8 meters in front of the TV.
- Effective angle: Within 30 degrees horizontal or 15 degrees vertical at distances up to 6 meters.
When turning the TV on for the first time, an Installation Guide Menu will appear to assist with Language, Country, Time Zone, Use Mode, Network, and Channel Search settings.
4. Making Connections
Check jack positions and types before connecting. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to avoid image or color problems.
- ▶ VGA & AUDIO: Connect a VGA cable and an audio cable from a PC. To select VGA: Press [Source], navigate to [VGA] source, and press [OK].
- ▶ USB: Connect a USB 2.0 device for photos, music, and movies. To select USB: Press [Source], navigate to [HiMedia] source, and press [OK], or press [HiMedia] directly.
- ▶ ANT: Connect an outdoor VHF/UHF antenna. Connect using a 75Ω Antenna Cable.
- ▶ DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: Connect an optical cable (Toslink) from an external digital audio system. Use OPTICAL cable for connection.
- ▶ LAN: Connect an Ethernet cable to access a network or the Internet. Use a LAN cable for network connection.
- ▶ HEADPHONE: Connect headphones for audio output. Use a headphone jack for audio.

▶ HDMI/COMP / AV: Connect external A/V equipment using an HDMI cable or Component/AV adapter.
Connections:
- HDMI: No separate sound connection needed.
- Component/AV: Requires separate L-AUDIO-R connections.

Securing the Installation Space
CAUTION: Ensure adequate air circulation around the TV. Allow at least 4 inches (10cm) space on all sides and 12 inches (30cm) above the TV. Avoid operating the TV at temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Inadequate air circulation can lead to overheating, TV damage, or fire.
Never install the TV set as follows:
- Air circulation is blocked.
Recommended space:
- Leave at least 4 inches (10cm) space around the set.
- Leave at least 12 inches (30cm) space above the set.
6. Hisense Warranty
Hisense Australia provides a 36-month in-home repair warranty for this appliance, covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Consumable items like 3D glasses and remote controls are covered for 12 months.
Key Warranty Points:
- Applies to new products purchased for use in Mainland Australia and Tasmania.
- Covers faulty workmanship and parts failure under normal use.
- Hisense reserves the right to repair or replace defective products with parts of like kind and quality.
- Warranty is void if the serial number is damaged, modified, or removed, or if proof of purchase is not provided.
- What is NOT Covered:
- Inadequate servicing or poor installation.
- Environmental damage (dirt, dust, rust, corrosion).
- Excessive use ("fair wear and tear").
- Overheating due to poor ventilation.
- Service or repair by unauthorized personnel.
- Damage from power surges, voltage fluctuations, or incorrect power current.
- Physical damage from accidents, misuse, theft, vandalism, or acts of God (flood, fire, earthquake, storms).
- Costs for attendance and testing where no fault is found.
- Initial setup, installation, and normal maintenance costs.
- Consumables (e.g., bulbs, batteries) unless specified.
- Cosmetic or structural items (shelves, doors).
- Interference from/to other products.
- Inability to read or output damaged/copied media.
- Warranty Ceases if:
- Original serial number is removed or altered, or the product is sold at auction.
- Failure to pay for non-warranty work requested by the customer.
- Australian Consumer Laws guarantee rights that cannot be excluded. Customers are entitled to replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for other foreseeable loss or damage.
- Unauthorized access to internal hardware voids the warranty.
- If residing outside the service coverage area (25km radius of nearest Hisense authorized retailer/service agent), transportation costs are not covered.
- Hisense is not liable for items lost, damaged, or stolen during freight or transport.
- Pixel defects are not a warranty issue unless they exceed manufacturer specifications (e.g., 12 or more failing pixels).
- Screen damage from image retention (permanent damage from still/repetitive images) is not covered.
- Extra service charges may apply for wall/ceiling mounted units or units not installed by a professional installer.
- A "No Fault Found" fee (minimum $125 inc GST) is payable if no fault is found or the issue is not covered by warranty.

General Notes
Battery Disposal: Dispose of batteries in designated areas. Do not mix battery types or use old and new batteries together. Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period.
