Strap Installation

To attach the included strap:

1. Secure one end of the strap to the handle on one side of the speaker.
2. Secure the other end of the strap to the handle on the opposite side of the speaker.

Charging

Charging the Speaker

Use a certified USB-C to USB-C cable and a compatible charger to prevent any damage.

LED Indicator Status:

• Flashing Red: Low battery level.
• Solid Red: Speaker is charging.
• Solid White: Speaker is fully charged.

Charging External Devices

The speaker can function as a power bank. Use the speaker's USB output port to charge your portable devices or accessories.

Powering On and Off

To Power On: Press and hold the power button [⏻] for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will turn solid white.

To Power Off: Press and hold the power button [⏻] for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.

The speaker will automatically turn off after 20 minutes of no audio signal. You can also set the auto-off time in the soundcore app.

Speaker Operation

Bluetooth Mode

Press the Bluetooth button [?] to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. On your device, select "soundcore Boom 2 Pro" from the Bluetooth list to connect.

LED Indicator Status:

• Press: Enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
• Flashing Blue: Bluetooth pairing in progress.
• Solid Blue: Bluetooth connected.

To re-enter Bluetooth pairing mode, press the Bluetooth button [?] once.

The speaker can play music from one device at a time. To play from another connected device, pause playback on the currently active device first.

When the speaker is turned on, it automatically connects to the last connected device if it is within Bluetooth range. Otherwise, press the Bluetooth button [?] to re-enter pairing mode.

TWS Mode (True Wireless Stereo)

Two identical soundcore speakers can connect to form a stereo pair, allowing both speakers to play the same audio content (one as the left channel, the other as the right channel).

After connecting one speaker to your smartphone, press and hold the Bluetooth button [?] on both speakers for 2 seconds to enter TWS pairing mode.

LED Indicator Status:

• Press and hold for 2 seconds: Enter/Exit TWS pairing mode.
• Flashing White: TWS pairing in progress.
• Solid Blue (Speaker 1): TWS paired (primary speaker).
• Solid White (Speaker 2): TWS paired (secondary speaker).

To exit TWS mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button [?] for at least 2 seconds.

PartyCast Mode

After connecting one speaker to your smartphone, press the PartyCast button [♫] on up to 100 soundcore speakers with PartyCast functionality to synchronize sound and light effects.

LED Indicator Status:

• Press: Enter/Exit PartyCast pairing mode.
• Solid White: PartyCast paired.

You can also connect other Soundcore speakers with PartyCast functionality to this speaker.

LightShow

Light Effects:

• Press the LightShow button [?] once or again to turn on the light or cycle through light effects.
• Press and hold the LightShow button [?] for 2 seconds to turn off the light effects.

Download the soundcore app for an enhanced experience with your speaker. Available on Google Play and the App Store.

The app provides access to:

• Product Information: View product name and firmware version, or access the user manual.
• Firmware Update: Receive notifications for new firmware when the speaker connects to the app.
• Battery Status: Displays the speaker's current battery level.
• Volume Control: Adjust volume directly within the app without using the speaker buttons.
• EQ Settings: Customize your audio experience with various EQ presets optimized for different music genres:
  • soundcore Signature: Standard EQ for balanced sound.
  • Voice: Enhances human voices for clearer vocal playback.
  • Treble Boost: Enhances high frequencies for brighter sound.
  • Balance: Neither high nor low frequencies are emphasized, providing a neutral sound profile.
• Set Auto-Off Time: Configure the automatic shut-off timer. The speaker will turn off after the specified period of inactivity.
• Voice Prompt: Mute or enable voice prompts for system notifications (e.g., power on/off, connection status).

Resetting

To reset the speaker to its factory default settings, press and hold both the Bluetooth button [?] and the Volume Up button [+] simultaneously for at least 4 seconds.
